Nash became a member of the South Liberty club at a young age, where he played at all levels from junior to underage, eventually joining the senior team.

His journey with Limerick began as a member of the county’s squad. On July 23, 2013, in the replay of the final, Nash scored three points in Limerick’s victory over Watford, winning their first Premier League title in 29 years with a score of 1-20 to 4-08. Munster Championship winner.

The following year, 2014, Nash continued his success with the minor teams, winning his second consecutive Munster Championship medal after beating Watford 0-24 to 0-18 in the final replay. In the All-Ireland final on 7 September 2014, despite his efforts to score two points, Limerick lost 2-17 to 0-19 against Kilkenny.

On July 30, 2015, Nash entered the under-21 youth team and won the Munster Championship medal with Limerick in a 0-22 to 0-19 victory over Clare in the final. On 12 September 2015, he further demonstrated his skills and was named Man of the Match in Limerick’s 0-26 to 1-07 win over Wexford in the All-Ireland final.

After failing in 2016, Nash made a comeback in 2017, winning a second Munster Championship medal in a thrilling final victory over Cork 0-16 to 1-11. His performance as a left corner was crucial in Limerick’s 0-17 to 0-11 win over Kilkenny in the All-Ireland final on 9 September 2017.

In January 2016, Nash received a call-up to join the Limerick senior hurling team. He made his National Hockey League debut on 13 February 2016, in a 2–23 to 0–15 win over Wexford. Later in the season, Nash made his first appearance in the Munster Championship, but lost to Tipperary 3-12 and 1-16.

Unexpectedly, on February 6, 2017, Nash withdrew from the Limerick senior hurling group citing “personal reasons”. Team manager John Keeley acknowledged the situation and expressed confidence that Nash would play an important role in the team’s future and may even return to training later that year. Surprisingly, Nash resumed training more than a month after leaving the group.

Although not on the pitch, Nash was part of the Limerick team that won their first All-Ireland title in 45 years on 19 August 2018. They beat Galway in a thrilling final 3-16 to 2-18.

On March 31, 2019, Nash found himself on the bench for the Limerick National League Final at Croke Park. Despite not playing, he received a winners’ medal as Limerick won 1-24 to 0-19. Subsequently, on 30 June 2019, Nash came on as a 70th-minute substitute for Declan Hannon in Limerick’s 2-26 to 2-14 final defeat to Tipperary. Won a Munster Championship medal.

Nash’s success continued with a second consecutive National League medal on 25 October 2020, as Limerick beat Clare 0-36 to 1-23 in the delayed final. Additionally, in the same season, he won another Munster Championship medal as a left cornerback in the final as Limerick beat Watford 0-25 to 0-21.
