Warframe Patch Notes 33.5 Update
In the highly anticipated Warframe Update 33.5, a new Warframe named Kullervo takes center stage, captivating players with its mysterious presence. While the precise details of his stats and abilities remain shrouded in mystery, interesting hints have piqued our curiosity. Kullervo’s compelling story intertwines with themes of Duveri, Dominus Trax’s kingdom and betrayal, heralding an epic narrative journey. It’s worth noting that the daggers adorning his body serve a dual purpose – they serve as both a motif and a vital role in his arsenal.
Two of Kullervo’s abilities were teased, giving us a glimpse of just how powerful he is. One of these abilities summons a barrage of devastating daggers in a circular area around Kullervo, slicing down his enemies mercilessly. The second ability gives him the ability to teleport and perform deadly backstabs, reminiscent of Ash’s famous teleportation technique.

To obtain Kullervo, players must adventure on newly revealed islands in the vast Duveri landscape. The island is like an enchanted dungeon that contains the essence of Kullervo the Desire, showing him to be a powerful mini-boss. Additionally, players can find vendors who live on the island, providing the elusive components needed to build the mighty Kullervo.
It’s worth noting that once the update arrives, the process of discovering the Spiral of Sorrow, a prerequisite for exploring the island, can be bypassed for a limited time. The week-long special event will allow players to enter Kullervo’s stronghold directly from the Duveri menu, allowing them to dive into his story without delay.
Additionally, the update introduces a new end-game portal, hidden within the vast expanse of Duveri. Unlocking this portal requires accruing at least seven cumulative decrees while running as a Drifter. Once this milestone is reached, players can enter the portal and face the daunting challenge of Undercroft, a dangerous section with a high chance of acquiring the latest arcana.
The 33.5 update also brings various quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and balance adjustments. One of the notable enhancements is a major update to the circuitry. A new widget will be introduced in the Duviri menu, allowing players to preview available loads in the current spiral without loading into the circuit, streamlining the overall gaming experience.
As Warframe fans eagerly await the arrival of Update 33.5, the promise of Kullervo’s mysterious power, the excitement of exploring the new Duviri Island, and the lure of quality-of-life improvements set the stage for an unforgettable adventure. Get ready, the future of Warframe beckons, and a journey awaits that is destined to leave an indelible mark on the hearts of loyal players.
About Warframe
Warframe is an action-packed third-person shooter that proves Digital Extremes’ prowess in the gaming industry. It was originally released for Windows PC in 2013 and quickly expanded its reach to include platforms such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. In a true display of unity, cross-platform play is launching in 2022, with cross-save functionality and a mobile port planned for 2023. It’s worth noting that the game is still in permanent open beta and is constantly being developed and improved.
In the vast universe of Warframe, players take on the role of Tenno, ancient warriors who have awakened from centuries of slumber in a future where factions wage war across planetary systems. Equipped with a powerful Warframe, an array of weapons, and unique abilities, Tenno embark on thrilling missions. While the game’s missions typically feature procedurally generated levels, they also offer vast open-world areas similar to other massively multiplayer online games, as well as carefully designed story-specific missions. Warframe seamlessly blends shooting, melee combat, parkour, and role-playing elements to allow players to enhance their Tenno equipment and abilities. The game offers engaging player versus environmental challenges and exciting player versus player encounters. Supports microtransactions, giving players the option to purchase in-game items with real money, while also allowing diligent players to earn them through dedicated gameplay.
Warframe’s origins date back to 2000, when Digital Extremes began developing a game called Dark Sector. The company initially intended to collaborate with other developers and publishers, but later chose to go it alone to bring their creative vision to life. Dark Sector endured several setbacks and went through significant changes before its release in 2008. However, in 2012, driven by the growing popularity of free-to-play games, the developers repurposed Dark Sector’s ideas and assets and breathed new life into themselves with a released project: Warframe.
Since then, Warframe has attracted millions of players, proving its developers’ adaptability, creativity and commitment to continuous improvement. Its dynamic gameplay, ever-expanding universe, and freedom to choose between microtransactions and bonus rewards make it a force to be reckoned with in gaming. Get ready to immerse yourself in the endless adventures that await in the ever-evolving realm of Warframe.
