The Division 2
The Division 2, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, is a purely online action role-playing video game and the sequel to 2016’s Tom Clancy’s The Division. The game is set in a near-future version of Washington, D.C., ravaged by a genetically engineered virus known as the “Green Poison.” Players take on the role of an agent belonging to the Strategic Territory Department, tasked with restoring order and rebuilding the city after a catastrophic epidemic.
The Division 2 was released on March 15, 2019 to generally positive reviews from critics. Many praised the game’s improved setting, engaging gameplay, impressive visuals, dynamic combat mechanics, and well-crafted soundtrack. Opinion was more divided, however, when it came to the game’s endgame content, which received mixed reviews from critics.

The Division 2 gameplay
Welcome to the thrilling game world of The Division 2! Get ready for an action-packed adventure as you team up with up to three friends to complete missions in this cover-based third-person shooter.
The game was held in downtown Washington, D.C., seven months after the previous game. A fierce civil war breaks out between the survivors and the marauders, plunging the city into chaos. At the beginning of the game, you will create your own The Division agent, customizing their gender and appearance to your liking.
Equipped with a variety of firearms, including assault rifles, sniper rifles, submachine guns, and explosives such as grenades, you’ll stand up to your enemies. Weapons are divided into different tiers and rarities, with high-quality guns offering better stats and unique “talents” to improve your performance. Further customize your weapons with accessories like optics, sights, and barrel upgrades.
But it’s not just about firepower! The game features a wide range of equipment and armor options. Equipping gear from the same brand can slightly increase performance, allowing you to fine-tune your play style.
When you complete missions, you’ll earn valuable loot and experience points (XP). Level up and earn SHD Tech, a currency that unlocks new skills. Deploy turrets, shields, combat drones, or fire homing mines and chemical launchers. Each skill comes with unique mods that enhance its capabilities.

Get ready to face new enemy types, including healers and enemies equipped with foam-shooting weapons. But don’t worry, you can call in support during a mission to get other players to join the action and support you in battle.
Explore the vast open world of Washington, D.C., filled with endless possibilities. Recruit non-player characters by completing missions, delivering supplies to settlements, and unlocking new features and items. Upgrade settlements to expand facilities such as equipment caches and fast travel points.
Discover safe houses scattered across the city, allowing you to fast travel and discover nearby SHD caches. These treasures hold valuable rewards, including perks that enhance your combat capabilities and experience point bonuses.
Immerse yourself in dynamic world events, such as stopping public executions and capturing resource convoys. Uncover hidden collectibles such as communications, artifacts, relics, and echoes to uncover the mysteries of the city.
Work with weapon vendors to sell trinkets and unwanted gear in exchange for e-points (the in-game currency). Use your hard-earned cash to purchase new weapons, crafting materials, and cosmetic changes.
Get ready for the intense Dark Zone, where up to 12 players can test their skills. Fight powerful enemies to capture valuable loot, and be careful – other players may steal your loot if you’re not careful. Being a thief adds an extra level of excitement, as you can attack other players to steal their treasures and gain experience points. Remember, the more rogue you are, the bigger the target behind you!
Once you reach level 30 and complete the campaign, the game enters the endgame phase. World level replaces level, and your equipment score becomes crucial. Fight against the powerful Black Fang faction and use their advanced technology to invade the city. Complete challenging missions, liberate strongholds and level up to unlock better loot and face stronger enemies.
Dedicate your characters to specific classes, each with their own signature weapon: a marksman with a powerful sniper rifle, a demolition expert armed with a grenade launcher, and a survivalist armed with a deadly crossbow. Expand your skills and dominate the battlefield.
Launch raids with up to eight players and conquer the toughest challenges. Encounter the 52 deck, which is a collection of 52 bosses, each boss will drop a collection card after being defeated.
