Caribbean Series 2024
The 2024 Caribbean Series is the 66th edition of this prestigious club baseball tournament and is scheduled to take place from February 1 to February 9, 2024. Unlike previous years, this event will be held at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida for the first time since 2024. In 1991, the campaign transcended the borders of Latin America. This move to a Major League Baseball ballpark adds a new dimension to the series and highlights its growing international appeal.
The tournament brings together champions from seven professional baseball leagues, with the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela all full members of the Caribbean Professional Baseball League. In addition, three visiting teams from Curacao, Nicaragua and Panama will also participate in the competition, enriching the diversity of talents showcased at the event.
The significance of hosting the Caribbean Series in Miami transcends geographical boundaries and symbolizes baseball’s inherent global reach and cultural exchange. Fans eagerly look forward to witnessing top baseball action in the lively atmosphere of LoanDepot Park as the teams gather in the vibrant city of Miami. This historic edition is expected to attract audiences around the world and celebrate the sport’s rich heritage while promoting the spirit of camaraderie and competition between nations.

ESPN was once watched in about 76 million homes in the United States, but by June 2023, that number had dropped to about 72.5 million homes. In addition to its main channel and seven related channels in the United States, ESPN is broadcast in more than 200 countries. It also has regional channels in Africa, Australia, Latin America and the Netherlands.
In Canada, it owns 20% of The Sports Network (TSN) and its five sister networks. Despite ESPN’s popularity, it faces criticisms of coverage bias, conflicts of interest, and controversies involving broadcasters and analysts.
