How to Get Pirate Jetsam in FF7 Rebirth

Pirate Shipwreck

Pirate Relics are floating objects that are found in the Meridian Ocean. In this area, you can discover the Island of Gilgamesh and other interesting optional content. To reach this area, you must first reach Chapter 12. At this point, this area suddenly appears. You can then go to this area with your pony.

Once you enter the area, you will see a barrel floating on the surface of the ocean. You can hit the barrel with your pony to get the item inside. If you get this item, the only thing you will get is that it is a crafting material.

Pirate Jetsam Locations in FF7 Rebirth

This crafting resource, called “Pirate Relics,” can only be found in the Meridian Ocean, a large body of water in the center of FF7 Reborn’s map. To the east, you’ll find Midgar and Steppes on the unnamed continent, to the west, Nibel and Korel, Cosmo Canyon and Gongaga, and to the east, you’ll sail across the Atlantic Ocean on the Shinra 8 in Chapter 5.

Chapter 12 opens up a vast open world that lets you explore the entire Meridian Sea and even fly across the ocean in a small Mustang plane. Pirate wrecks look like crates floating in the water, and if you’re lucky enough to find all four, you’ll get the Pirate Compass, which will help you find the Pirate Wreck.

Corsair Compass Location

This crafting resource, called “Pirate Relics,” can only be found in the Meridian Ocean. The Meridian Ocean is a vast body of water located in the center of the FF7 Rebirth map. Midgar, Steppe, Juno, and Nibel are located to the east. Another unnamed continent, Nibel, is located to the west. Cosmo Canyon and Gongaga are located to the northwest. In the middle is the equivalent of the Atlantic Ocean, which you can cross on the Shinra 8 in Chapter 5.

Pirate Relics look like crates floating in the ocean. If you find all four Pirate Relics, you’ll be able to obtain the Pirate Compass, which will allow you to find Pirate Relics. Once you enter Chapter 12, you’ll find a chest where you can park your Bronco. Inside, you’ll find the Pirate’s Treasure Map. This map details four bosses you can fight in four locations: Brine Born Demon, Hueyacoatl, Huge Raider, Sea Dragon, and more.

Each X marked on the map indicates the location of a hidden dock leading to the Pirate King’s Cave. After finding each dock and defeating the boss there, you’ll be able to craft a Pirate Compass. This is a great equippable accessory that breaks down the ATB meter into three parts after an ally uses five different commands, but its main use is as a true compass for locating your pirate ship.

Corsair Compass Usage

Once created, the Pirate Compass will create a golden ring around your Tiny Bronco (similar to the red circle in First Strike) as you cross the Meridian Sea, indicating that there is a pirate shipwreck nearby and you will follow the red arrow pointing to it.

FF7 Rebirth

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set in 2024 and is developed and published by Square Enix. It is the second part of a planned trilogy of remakes of the 1997 PlayStation game. The story continues after the events of the previous game, Final Fantasy 7 Remake (2020). On Planet, the protagonists try to stop the forces of the Shinra Electric Power Company (SEK) from taking over the metropolis of Midgar by using the Lifestream as a weapon. They must also defeat Sephiroth, a veteran of Shinra’s elite forces.

SOLDIER unit, thought dead, and attempts to use the Lifestream to summon a meteor to destroy the planet, allowing him to unite with the meteor and become a god.

The game continues the narrative style of the original, reimagining the plot, world, and characters of FF7 (1997). The story of Rebirth follows the events that occur after you leave Midgar and travel to the forgotten capital. However, the order in which you visit locations is different from the first game. For example, you can’t visit Wutai until the third game.
