In Persona 3 Reloaded, defeating the Tower of Calamity boss requires strategy and exploiting weaknesses. Here’s how to deal with it:
First, know the enemy’s weaknesses: Pagoda is weak against strike attacks, but can absorb lightning and wind. Book of Persecution is weak against dark attacks, but can absorb ice magic. Your team configuration is crucial. Bring characters like Koromaru for dark attacks, Akihiko for strike attacks, and Mitsuru, who is not weak to any of the enemy’s spells. Make sure Yuki’s Persona is not weak to wind, ice, or lightning.
Aim for weak points at the start of the battle. The Pagoda and Grimoire can hit multiple weak points per turn, so act quickly. Focus on their weak points with consecutive attacks to prevent the Grimoire from strengthening the Pagoda. Alternate between Koromaru and Akihiko, using full-strength attacks to deal heavy damage. Keep doing this until both Grimoires of Persecution are defeated.
Once it’s just you and the pagoda, focus on exploiting the weaknesses of Akihiko (and Yukihime, if applicable). Keep attacking, and healing when necessary. The pagoda will eventually collapse. Beware of Akihiko’s weakness to ice. However, since Tome of Persecution only uses ice magic between buffs, he should be able to hold up.
Use healing items or Yukihime’s support personality to keep your team in good shape. Aggressively exploit weaknesses and the fight should be over relatively quickly. In summary, prioritize exploiting weaknesses, use a balanced team, and stay vigilant about healing. With the right approach, you’ll be on your way to victory over the Tower of Disaster in Persona 3 Reload.

Persona 3 Remake retains the core combination of traditional role-playing and social simulation gameplay from the original Persona 3, but with significant improvements in appearance, graphics, and mechanics. These changes incorporate improvements introduced in later games, especially Persona 5. The game introduced quality of life updates, including a refined user interface, the addition of objective descriptions of story missions, and a heads-up display similar to Persona 5.
The map display has been enhanced and now provides more detailed information about the surroundings and marks important story locations, similar to the map system of Persona 5. New gameplay features include more activities in the protagonist’s dormitory, such as talking to dormitory residents, cooking, gardening, etc. These activities can improve the protagonist’s social statistics and affect interactions with social links.
Explore Tatsumi Port Island and Hell now in third-person with a fully rendered 3D world map. Fast travel has been expanded, and it is no longer possible to interrupt social links. New social elements introduce side storylines for supporting characters, deepening the protagonist’s relationships.
In Hell Tower, environmental changes have been increased and fatigue mechanics have been removed. The battle system has been redesigned, taking inspiration from Persona 5, with a new “Shift” skill and an improved “Baton Pass” skill. The post-battle mini-game “Shuffle Time” now allows players to manually select specific cards to receive rewards. Persona 3 Reload combines familiar elements with modern improvements for a new, enhanced experience.
