Ark: Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival video game developed by Studio Wildcard. A remake of the 2015 game Ark: Survival Evolved, the game immerses players in a thrilling world full of survival challenges and adventures.
The game was initially expected to release simultaneously on all next-generation platforms, but later took a different route and launched in Early Access first on Windows on October 25, 2023. It then launched on Xbox Series S/X on November 21, 2023, and on PlayStation 5 on November 30, 2023.

Gigantoraptor Patch Notes
- Wild Gigantoraptor hatchlings will now only feel comfortable approaching survivors if their parents are able to return to the nest
- Fixed a case where the new Hunting Target would display with a fully bonded Jumbo Passenger.
- Fixed an issue where the Big Mac Egg would disappear from the saddle when restarting a single player game.
- Adjusted the description of the Gigantoraptor Feather.
- During the Megaraptor binding training, ants are no longer potential hunting targets due to their shorter rendering distance, which may lead to hunting being activated without visible indicators.
- Fixed an issue with wild Gigantoraptor hatchlings getting stuck in their nests.
- Updated the wild Gigantoraptor baby claiming text to more accurately indicate that when their parents are killed, they cannot be claimed by the survivors.
- Updated glued dinosaur and egg HUD elements to fix overlapping hotbar issues when using higher than default values.
- Added the ability to pick up the baby in front of you using AltFire (click left Ctrl, hold, then release RB on the gamepad after 0.33 seconds).
- Updated combined training to clear/lose training objectives if you are too far away.
- Fixed an issue where the Gigantoraptor Lair could not be cleared.
- Added check for ini option OverrideBondedPassImprintMultiplier in ServerSettings section to override the imprint percentage passed to bonded babies.
- Fixed Gigantoraptor not being able to spawn with other mods that have overwritten Therizino.
Patch Notes
- Ally names are now displayed when wearing a Ghillie Suit.
- Fixed not being able to properly ping targets when being carried by an ally pilot.
- Fixed FPS drop when opening doors with lights on.
- The Cosmetics tab now allows item filtering.
- Fixed an issue with light sources on the raft not emitting light.
Ark: Survival Evolved Development
Launching in March 2023, ARK: Survival Evolved has undergone a major overhaul to enhance the player experience. The game’s first gameplay trailer was shown at the Xbox Partner Preview on October 25, 2023, and it was announced that it would be released at the same time. This remastered version features a major graphical upgrade, utilizing Unreal Engine 5 to provide improved visuals, character models, and environments.
Currently, “ARK: Survival Evolved” has been opened for early access, which includes the base game, the remastered “Scorched Earth” DLC and the Battle Royale mode. The remastered version not only brings a brand new look, but also ensures a more attractive and immersive gaming environment.
