There are a total of 45 pincers to discover in Granblue Fantasy Relink, each of which helps complete Lil Pince’s side quest. The quest involves collecting all of the pincers in the game, and collecting 20 of them not only rewards the player with the “Nice Crab” trophy, but is also a prerequisite for the “Nothing is Impossible!” trophy.
As players progress through each chapter, they find a specific number of Wee Pincers, making collecting them an engaging part of the game, adding an extra level of challenge and achievement for dedicated players.

There are 45 pliers in total in the chapter. They are listed below:
Location of the pliers in Granblue Fantasy Chapter 1:
- In Granblue Fantasy Chapter 1, you’ll find a small claw. Start at the beginning and go straight forward, then turn right until you come to a set of stair-like platforms. Climb up these platforms to find the first crab.
Location of the pliers in Chapter 2:
- The initial Wee Pincer from Chapter 2 is waiting outside the cave entrance at the start of the chapter.
- Continue through the cave entrance, turn left after coming out, and find the pliers on the wooden platform on the side of the mountain.
- From the second save point, backtrack to find a gap in the fence containing a small pliers.
- From the second save point, head to the village, cross the wooden bridge, turn right, and keep going until you find a rocky cliff with a pliers.
- For the fourth nipper, go straight from the wooden bridge until you come across a small garden near a house.
Location of the pliers in Chapter 3 of Granblue Fantasy Relink:
- To get the first Small Pliers in Chapter 3, head straight to the game marker. Before reaching the rock platform, turn left and find the Pliers behind a wooden structure.
- After you lower the first bridge, continue forward. Before you ascend the stairs leading to the next bridge, turn right and find the second pliers on a wooden plank at the edge of the area.
- Once you’ve completed the chase section, run straight along the railway to find the third tongs on a wooden platform.

Location of the pliers in Chapter 4:
- Similar to Chapter 1, there is only one Pliers in Chapter 4 of Granblue Fantasy. It is located inside the first enemy ship. Board the enemy ship, go straight to the cannon on the opposite side, and turn left twice to find the Pliers.
Location of the pliers in Chapter 5 of Granblue Fantasy Relink:
- From the first save point, head straight to the giant crystal, defeat the enemies, then turn slightly right to find the first clamp on a rocky cliff.
- Back up and immediately turn right, jump up the cliff or to the right, and go straight to find the second clamp near the wall.
- Near the second Save Point, head toward the stairs with the crystal, then turn right and jump off the snow cliff to collect the third Pliers.
Location of the pliers in Chapter 6 of Granblue Fantasy Relink:
- The Wee Pincer can be found inside a hollow tree on the ground by walking backwards from the first save point at the beginning of the chapter.
- Before entering the ruins, at the top of a collapsed stone door, turn left before the game directs you to reach the second stone door and collect the second pliers.
- In the ruins, turn left after entering, climb the stairs, and instead of jumping over the broken wall, jump up to find the third pliers.
- In the desert, walk back from the second save point until you see a collapsed archway, then collect the fourth Wee Pincer on top of it.
- Continue forward through the desert, going straight from the save point, through the arena, and before entering the ruins area, angle slightly to the left to find the fifth clamp.
- For the sixth Wee Pincer, start at the save point, spin right, run, and then jump off the cliff to collect it.
- Once you reach the Defense Sanctuary, turn left and take the stairs up. Keep going until you find a huge cliff. Collect the seventh clamp in the gap under the cliff.
- From the Save Point, go straight until you’re about halfway to the middle circle on the ground, turn right, and collect the eighth Pliers on a broken pillar in an area with a collapsed building.
- On a rock in the middle of the desert, turn left from the area with the yellow glowing floor and pillars, use the green portal to slide, and reach the rock with the pliers to finish the desert.

Chapter 7 Small Pliers Location:
- At the beginning of Chapter 7, when you rise, do not turn right, but go straight to the lava where you can find a rock platform to collect the first tongs.
- Once the dragon chase begins, turn around when you jump off instead of moving in a straight line to find the second small clamp.
- After your first encounter with the monster, during the chase, look down to the left of the platform and you’ll find another small platform with a third clamp.
Granblue Fantasy Relink Chapter 8: Small Pliers Location:
- Inside the castle, before reaching the second hallway, turn left to find the first tongs under a chair.
- After exiting the castle, immediately turn right to find the second Wee Pincer.
- At the next castle, instead of turning right, turn left and find the third tongs at the end of the hallway.
- After the mech battle, turn around in the ruins on the left side of the arena to find a fourth Pincer Dragon.
- After defeating the double boss, follow the game’s instructions to a room with a pool of water and collect the last pliers in Chapter 8.
Granblue Fantasy Relink Chapter 9: Small Pliers Location:
- When you start, look to your left to find a cliff you can climb, then collect the first Small Pliers at the top of the cliff.
- After facing the Fuyricane Boss, go straight in the direction given by the game, but before reaching it, turn left to find the second Pincer.
- After defeating the Nagagarmr boss, turn right about halfway to the designated point and climb a small cliff to get the third Pincer.
- In the purple lava area, use the rocks on the left instead of the straight route halfway up to find the fourth small tong.
- In the area where you face the Vulkan lying on the ground, go straight and take the path with floating rocks on the right to find the final Pincer.

Granblue Fantasy Relink Chapter 10: Small Pliers Location:
- At the start of Chapter 10, head straight to the game marker to find the first Pincer on the right side of the wooden platform connected to the main platform.
- Once you reach the higher platform, the next Wee Pincer is found on the right side, behind some crates.
- In the second part of Chapter 10, after completing the very difficult mission, at the beginning, find the Pincer on a small cliff to the right.
- After fighting the Shadow Creature in the circular arena, go up the last flight of stairs as per the game location, turn right and collect the last Small Pliers.
Granblue Fantasy Relink
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is part of the Granblue Fantasy series and is a cool action role-playing game made by Cygames. It is released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows on February 1, 2024, and critics are raving about it.
The great thing about Granblue Fantasy: Relink is that you don’t have to be connected to the servers all the time. You can play the game offline and still do the quests in either online or offline mode. This is great because not all games allow you to play without being connected to the servers all the time.
Another cool thing is how you pick your characters. While there is one main character, you can choose almost any crew member for almost any mission. This adds fun to your playthrough.

The development and release of Granblue Fantasy Relink
In August 2016, the gaming world was abuzz with the announcement of Granblue Fantasy: Relink (originally known as Project Granblue Fantasy Re: Link). This collaboration between PlatinumGames and Cygames generated a lot of anticipation, as both studios contributed their unique talents to the project. The musical magic was created by composers Nobuo Uematsu and Akira Narita, complemented by the artistic vision of Hideo Minaba.
In September 2016, the game was licensed for development on the PlayStation 4, with a goal of releasing it in 2018. In September, Sony culminated in a Tokyo Game Show press conference, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
In December 2018, the game was officially named Granblue Fantasy: Relink. In February 2019, Cygames took over the development from PlatinumGames, and the original director Yasuyuki Kaji continued to participate in the development. Although originally planned to be released in 2018, the game encountered delays, and the final release date was pushed back to February 1, 2024, and an early playable demo version was released on January 11, 2024.
