All classes in Dragon’s Dogma 2

fighter:

The Warrior is the standard starting class, wielding a one-handed sword and shield. This class focuses on defense rather than dealing a lot of damage, adopting a front-line tank playstyle. As the Warrior levels up, they will enhance their shield skills, providing more protection for themselves and their allies. This class can also gain skills that taunt enemies and increase damage capabilities, evolving into a formidable force on the battlefield.

Mage:

Mages are ranged classes who use magic for attack, defense, or support. Mages are known for their valuable healing spells, and they can be weak against melee enemies, but excel at using offensive spells when keeping their distance. The starting class is a valuable addition to any team, providing flexibility between support and damage roles.

thief:

Rogues focus on dealing quick melee damage and lack the defensive abilities of a fighter. Rogues are highly mobile, responsive, and quick to attack, but lack ranged attacks. As Rogues level up, they not only increase their damage, but their mobility as well, allowing them to dodge and strike larger creatures with agility.

Shooter:

Archers rely on agility rather than defense to deal physical damage at long range. Archers move quickly around the battlefield, using agility and skill to fire multiple arrows. As Archers level up, they gain skills that allow them to shoot faster and improve their mobility, enhancing their ability to engage and retreat strategically.

Advanced Careers:

warrior:

Warriors are powerful combatants who do not use shields, but instead rely on heavy armor and strong physique to fight. Warriors are skilled with two-handed weapons, such as greatswords and hammers, and are good at dealing heavy damage with charged attacks. This class can unleash powerful strikes that are capable of hitting multiple enemies, providing valuable crowd control capabilities. While Warriors are not as defensive as Fighters, they have unparalleled offensive capabilities, making them a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

wizard:

Choosing the Sorcerer class will take your ability to wield magic to new heights. Sorcerers focus on ranged magical attacks, wielding a massive staff to channel arcane energy. With spells that have area damage, Sorcerers become a powerful force in combat, able to deal significant damage to groups of enemies. The cost of this power is that their spells take longer to cast, leaving Sorcerers vulnerable to attack. As a Sorcerer, success in combat depends on strategic positioning, ensuring they stay out of harm’s way while channeling their devastating magic.

Mixed Occupation:

Mystical Lancer:

The Mystic Spearman is a unique addition to Dragon’s Dogma II that combines melee and magical abilities. Equipped with a special weapon called a twin spear, the Mystic Spearman is able to attack at close range with deadly accuracy. This class enables players to engage multiple enemies at once, thanks to the twin spears’ dual tips. Additionally, the Mystic Spearman has magical spells that enhance crowd control, allowing them to paralyze enemies or throw defeated foes at other attackers. This hybrid class offers a versatile combination of physical and magical combat.

Magic Archer:

The Magic Archer is a specialized hybrid class that focuses on ranged combat using pure magic. Equipped with magical arrows, the Magic Archer can launch attacks that will never miss their target. Players can choose the elemental nature of the arrows to effectively exploit the weaknesses of their enemies. This class combines the precision of archery with the mysterious power of magic to create a unique and powerful play style. The Magic Archer excels in many ways, providing both offensive and support capabilities on the battlefield.

fraud:

The Magician is a novel hybrid class that excels at creating illusions through smoke using a unique weapon called the Censer. These illusions can manipulate enemies into turning on each other or diverting their attention. The Magician can summon ghost clones to divert enemy attention and create false ground areas for tactical advantage. In addition, the Magician has the ability to temporarily enhance the power of their pieces, providing support beyond their normal limits. This class excels at environmental manipulation, providing strategic advantages to the team.

Warrior:

The Warrior class introduces an innovative hybrid class approach, allowing players to choose any combination of three weapons in the game. This flexibility enables players to switch between three different classes, adjusting their play style in real time to suit different enemies and environments. Warriors can choose skills from each selected weapon/class, giving them a high degree of flexibility on the battlefield. However, due to the wide range of skill selection, Warriors may be subject to the same restrictions in upgrading skills as more focused classes. To be successful as a Warrior class requires proficiency in the use of weapons and quick analysis of combat situations.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Gameplay

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an action role-playing game in which players take on the role of an Awakened One, a hero chosen by a dragon to defeat it. The game is played from a third-person perspective, and players take on the role of an Awakened One as they explore the world, complete quests, and fight monsters.

Throughout your journey, you’ll meet companions called “pawns,” AI-controlled characters that act like your allies. Players can create and customize their own characters and pawns, choosing gender, appearance, and race. In addition, two additional pawns can be recruited from other players.

In the game, characters follow specific “classes” or categories, which determine their abilities and equipment. There are basic, advanced, and hybrid classes, with hybrid classes only accessible to Awakened. The open world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is four times larger than the first game, with two main kingdoms, Vermund and Battahl.

The game introduces new hybrid classes, such as the Mystic Spearman and the Trickster, each offering unique skills. A dynamic day-night cycle influences gameplay, impacting encounters and creature powers, and emergencies add unexpected challenges, encouraging players to adapt and strategize.
