One of the exciting new features is Everspace 2, a space combat game developed by RockFish Games. Players will control their own space fighter in a carefully crafted universe that blends classic role-playing elements with fast-paced action.
The game received positive reviews, with IGN highlighting its gameplay variety and potential as a single-player action RPG experience. Another game joining Xbox Game Pass is the critically acclaimed Limbo, a puzzle platform adventure game. In this atmospheric game, players take on the role of a young boy venturing across a dangerous world in search of his missing sister.
Limbo has been praised for its originality and consistently great gameplay, making it a valuable addition to your gaming library. However, along with the arrival of new games, there are also some games scheduled to leave Xbox Game Pass on August 15th. Game Pass is a subscription service provided by Microsoft as part of the Xbox Network. Launched on June 1, 2017, it allows users to download video games from a constantly rotating library and play them on an Xbox console or Windows PC. As long as users maintain an active subscription, they can access and play games in the library.
The service is divided into two products: Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One, Series X and Series S consoles, and PC Game Pass for PCs running Windows 10 and Windows 11. Both products are available as separate subscriptions. There is also a premium package called Game Pass Ultimate, which includes access to both services, on-demand cloud gaming capabilities on console, PC and mobile platforms, and the benefits of an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
Game Pass offers a wide selection of games from Xbox Game Studios and various third-party publishers. Starting in January 2018, all new Xbox Game Studios games will be available to Game Pass subscribers immediately upon release. Microsoft also offers Electronic Arts’ EA Play service to PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
It’s worth noting that Xbox Live Gold will be discontinued in September 2023 and integrated into Xbox Game Pass as a new low-priced plan called Xbox Game Pass Core. This tier will provide subscribers with limited free games to further enhance players’ gaming experience.
