Will Midnight Texas have a season 3?

The show premiered on NBC in 2017 and was a huge success, but the ratings declined in the second season, leading NBC to decide to cancel the show in December 2018.
Despite efforts by the production company and avid fans to reboot the show, including an online petition, there is still no sign of a renewal as of February 2024. Actors such as François Annaud, Arielle Kebbel, Peter Mensah, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, and Jason Lewis all gave strong performances throughout the series. However, despite Midnight Texas’ loyal fan base and the potential for further storylines, the decision to stop the show after two seasons remains in place. So, while fans may hold out hope for a future revival, for now, Midnight Texas’ journey into the mysterious world will come to an end with season two.
