Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an action-RPG where players control the Awakened, a hero on a quest to defeat a dragon in a vast open world. As the Awakened, players will embark on a journey, battle monsters, and navigate geopolitical conflicts between two kingdoms. To aid in their journey, players recruit AI-controlled allies, called Pawns, who assist in combat, provide enemy insights, and guide quests. Players can customize the appearance, gender, and race of their characters and Pawns. Additionally, they can recruit two Pawns created by other players.
Characters in Dragon’s Dogma 2 are organized into “classes” that define their combat abilities and equipment. Classes include basic, advanced, and hybrid classes, all of which are available to Awakened. The game introduces new hybrid classes, such as the Mystic Spearman and the Trickster, each of which offers unique combat strategies and spells. Upgrading your class unlocks new combat abilities.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is set in a seamless open world four times larger than the first game, with two major kingdoms inhabited by humans, beasts, and elves.
