When will Children of the Forest 1.0 be released?

Version 1.0 of Children of the Forest will be released on Friday, February 22, 2024. According to the in-game timer, the update is expected to be released around 1am GMT (5pm PT / 8pm ET) on Friday, February 23.

Currently, the game is only available for PC users through Steam. It has not yet been announced whether the game will be released on other consoles. However, considering that the previous work, The Forest, eventually also got a console version after the initial PC release, this sequel may follow a similar path in the future.
