The graphical user interface has been significantly upgraded, providing clearer details for story-sensitive tasks, dates, times, and moon phases. The map display continues to evolve, becoming more complex and user-friendly, similar to Persona 5’s navigation system. New features include expanded activities in Iwatodai Dormitory, allowing the protagonist to have conversations, cook, garden, watch movies, and read books.

These tasks contribute to social statistics and influence interactions with social links. Thanks to Unreal Engine 4, Tartarus Quest maintains its structure but includes environmental variety and visual effects. Combat features influences from Persona 5, offering direct control over party members, improved combat commands, and improved shuffle times gained from Persona. In “Persona 3”, the plot tells the story of a high school student who transfers to Gekkokan High School and experiences a mysterious 25th hour known as the “Dark Hour.” During this time, the protagonist is attacked by the terrifying Shadow and discovers the power of Persona.

SEES recruits a group of students dedicated to fighting the Shadow as they explore Tartarus, a tower that appears during dark hours. The story unfolds as SEES faces escalating challenges, including encounters with powerful Shadows and the revelation of Tartarus’ true origins.

Their leader Ikutsuki’s deception leads to unintended consequences, ultimately unleashing Nyx, a force capable of bringing about the end of the world. A moral dilemma arises when Ryoji, who has ties to the Knicks, presents a choice that affects the fate of humanity. The story culminates in a gripping climax involving sacrifice, a final battle, and decisions that shape the characters’ fates.
