Eric and Ariel are about to kiss, but as the sun sets, Ariel’s agreement with Ursula expires, causing her to transform back into a mermaid in front of everyone. As a result, she became the property of the Sea Witch, who restored her true form and dragged Ariel to the bottom of the ocean.
At the bottom of the sea, Flounder informed King Triton of the situation, prompting him to rush to rescue Ariel. Triton agrees to give his trident to Ursula in exchange for his daughter’s freedom. Ursula seizes the trident, attacks Triton, and declares herself Queen of the Seven Seas. However, Eric also arrives and attempts to stop her.
In a climactic showdown, Ursula attempts to kill Eric, but Ariel intervenes and inadvertently causes Ursula to accidentally kill her eels “Flotsam” and “Jetsam” using her trident. Fueled by rage, Ursula uses the trident to transform into a gigantic and terrifying version of herself.
As Ursula chases them, Ariel urges Eric to save himself, but he refuses to leave her side. During Ursula’s evil rampage, she summoned a whirlpool that brought the wreck to the surface. Eric and Ariel manage to escape by climbing aboard a wrecked ship. Just as Ursula is about to destroy Eric, Ariel takes control of another wrecked ship instead of Eric in the 1990 version, and defeats Ursula by impaling her on the bowsprit.
With Ursula defeated, everyone is safe and Triton returns to his old self. He reunites with Ariel and they reconcile. Although Ariel still dreams of a life at sea, Triton eventually transforms her into a human. She reunites with Eric and they exchange a heartfelt kiss. Ariel and Eric soon married and embarked on new sea adventures together. Triton bids farewell to Ariel, accompanied by her sisters, the other mermaids and mermaids, and the humans on the shore.
In the end, they lived together happily, and Ariel finally realized her wish to live outside the sea.

Plot synopsis of The Little Mermaid·······
The Little Mermaid tells the enchanting story of Ariel, a young and adventurous mermaid princess who longs to explore the human world she has only heard of from afar. However, after a tragic incident involving humans, her father, King Triton, forbids the merfolk from venturing to the surface. Despite this, Ariel’s curiosity persists, and with the help of her loyal friends Flounder and Scatter, she collects human artifacts.
One day, Ariel witnesses a spectacular fireworks show on a nearby ship and becomes fascinated by Eric, the human prince on the ship. When a storm causes the ship to crash, Ariel bravely rescues Eric and calls him to shore with a siren’s song, saving his life. As fate would have it, Ariel must escape before Eric regains consciousness.
News of Ariel’s encounter with humans reaches King Triton, who is angered by her disobedience. However, he soon discovers Ariel’s brave behavior and begins to fear for her safety. Meanwhile, Ariel is seduced by Ursula, the sea witch and Triton’s estranged sister, who offers to transform her into a human for three days. The agreement requires Ariel to receive a true love’s kiss from Eric in order to remain human forever. Otherwise, she will turn back into a mermaid and Ursula will take her away.
Ariel agrees to the deal and becomes human with the help of her friends. She finds herself in Eric’s kingdom and gets a chance to spend time with him. As their relationship grows, Sebastian realizes that Ursula has cast a spell that makes Ariel forget her need for true love’s kiss. He, along with Scatter and Flounder, attempt to broker the kiss, but Ursula, disguised as a woman named Vanessa, thwarts their efforts.
At the critical moment, Ariel regains her voice, breaks the spell on Eric, and reveals Ursula’s true identity. However, before she and Eric can kiss, the sun sets and Ariel transforms back into a mermaid. Ursula takes the opportunity to capture Ariel and compete with Triton for his trident. Triton sacrifices himself for Ariel, and Ursula gains control of the ocean.
With the help of her friends, Ariel confronts Ursula, who grows to giant size and summons a storm that destroys Ariel and Eric. Eric bravely saves the world, and Ariel defeats Ursula in a ship.
In the end, Ariel and Eric’s love triumphs, and Triton is resurrected, realizing that Ariel’s happiness lies with Eric. He transforms Ariel permanently into a human, and the couple embarks on a journey together, receiving the blessings and support of both worlds.
“The Little Mermaid” is a timeless story of love, sacrifice, and the courage to pursue your dreams, reminding us of the power of true love and the power to overcome obstacles for the sake of those we care about.
