How does one enter the Sony World Photography Awards?
Entry to the 2024 Sony World Photography Awards is open and free, with the opportunity to submit single images shot in 2023. Each entrant may submit up to three single images during the submission process, with no entry fee. The competition features ten different categories, providing a platform for photographers to showcase their skills and perspectives on a variety of subjects.
The prizes for contestants are very attractive, with the chance to win not only the prestigious title, but also fabulous prizes. Prizes include a cash prize of US$5,000, top-of-the-line Sony digital imaging equipment and other benefits. In addition to the winners, up to 15 finalists in each category will also be recognized for their outstanding contributions.
The overall winner of the Open Photographer of the Year Award will receive top honors, having been selected from a large number of entries. Detailed rules regarding image eligibility criteria are available to entrants to ensure their submissions meet the competition guidelines.
