Skull and Bones: Bloody Legacy walkthrough

Wondering where Bloody Bones’ treasure is? Here’s how to find it!

Bloody Bones was said to have a cache of blue gems before she was captured by the Company. If you want to get your hands on her treasure, here’s how to do it in Skull and Bones.

1. Unlock Mission:

First, make sure you have the Skull and Bones Premium version. Then, reach the Buccaneer Infamy rank. This will unlock the Bloody Bones Legacy mission, as well as other missions like The Ashen Corsair and Freeman’s Lost Treasure.

2. Start investigating:

Go to St. Anne’s Mailbox. Find a letter with a red stamp on it and pick it up. This will start the Bloody Bones Legacy investigation.

3. Look for clues:

Open the Investigation tab in the Knowledge menu. Read the clues provided there. They will guide you through the quest.

Your first task is to find a shipwreck near the Hovohovo settlement. Fast travel to Louisbourg or the Royal Cemetery and sail towards the settlement. Look for a shipwreck with white and blue sails on a small island west of the settlement. Interact with the shipwreck to collect the next clue.

5. Climbing on Le Paradis:

Next, you’ll need to board a Compagnie warship called Le Paradis near Louisbourg Outpost. This ship patrols between Louisbourg and the southern edge of the map. Engage it and board it to find the next clue.

6. Finding the Tomb of Blood and Bones:

Once aboard the Heavenly, you will need to find the Tomb of Blood and Bones at Louisbourg Outpost. Follow the main road up the hill. When the main road turns left inside the fort, look for a small path to the right. Follow this path to the Tomb of Blood and Bones. An orange beam will show the exact location. Dig up the treasure at the tomb and examine the final clue to complete the investigation.

That’s it! Following these steps, you will complete the Bloody Bones Legacy quest in Skulls and Bones.

Skull and bone development

Developed by Ubisoft Singapore, Skull & Bones began production in 2013 and was inspired by the thrilling naval battles of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Initially, it was just an expansion to Black Flag, but the team soon saw greater potential.

They originally planned to make it into a spin-off MMO called Black Flag Infinite, but due to technical limitations, they finally decided to make it a standalone game. However, the development process was not smooth. According to reports, the game has undergone many revisions over the years, deviated from the original concept, and exceeded the budget many times.

The game was originally set in the Caribbean, then moved to the mysterious Far North, and finally to East Africa and Southeast Asia. The gameplay was also redesigned several times, from sea exploration to ship-to-ship combat, and finally to survival elements on land.

Ubisoft officially announced Skull & Bones at E3 2017, revealing that the game will be released on PC and consoles and will be enhanced for advanced hardware. They also launched the “Code Keepers” program, which allows players to provide feedback on the game’s live service features.
