Scotland’s World Cup squad departs for the Caribbean on Sunday 26 May. Their journey begins in Trinidad and Tobago, where they train and play two official warm-up matches against Afghanistan and Uganda. After honing their skills, the team will fly to Barbados to prepare for the crucial opener against England in Bridgetown on Tuesday, June 4.

The team will be coached by Doug Watson, who said: “It was a very difficult selection meeting and narrowing it down to a squad of fifteen was never easy. I think it was ultimately about getting the right balance in the squad and we feel we’ve achieved that here. Very It’s great that we have some county players available and we’re really excited about the fifteen players we’ve selected so now we can look forward to what’s ahead.”
