Scorn Walkthrough
ACT 1 Walkthrough
- After the opening cutscene, you’ll find yourself in a desolate area. Head towards the left path and follow it until you reach an elevated walkway in a large room.
- The door on the left is locked, so go to the right and descend the tunnel. You’ll find a broken door that can be interacted with.
- After the cutscene, you’ll be in a large room filled with machinery. Approach the Key Implant Machine on the left and insert your hand to acquire the key implant.
- Head to the control panel on the opposite side of the room and manipulate the locking mechanisms to open the sliding door.
- Proceed through the door and enter the large room seen from the elevated platform earlier.
Mine Cart Puzzle:
- In the large room, go to the eastern door, which is currently locked. Instead, enter the archway on the right to reach the “scoop room.”
- Take the elevator to the next level and go north to the extended platform in front of a large wall.
- Use the control panel on the right to operate the crane and move the pods on the wall. Move the correct pod to the top left-hand corner (Grab Slot).
- Break the correct pod using the control panel to reveal an immobile humanoid creature. The crane will lower it to the floor.
Crane Puzzle:
- Leave the auditorium and head north to the back of the room. Interact with the rising pod to obtain the bolt rifle.
- Proceed to the meat tree, activate the control panel, and merge the flying device with the obelisk. Position the merged obelisk in a slot on the meat tree and activate the control panel below to open a shutter.
- Return to the auditorium’s corridors and activate the control panels near the archways. This moves two more obelisks towards the meat tree.
- Navigate through the air, defeat the steam-emitting drones using the bolt rifle, and plant the obelisks in the meat tree.
- Activate the final control panel beneath the last obelisk. A catastrophic event will cause the protagonist to lose consciousness.
ACT 2 Walkthrough:
- After the events of Act 1, you’ll find yourself connected to a purple organism in a pod. Disconnect from it and fall into a desolate desert area.
- Follow the path through the desert, passing ruins and landmarks, until you reach a giant tower in the distance.
- Enter the tower through the door at the base and continue following the path. It will lead you to a confined tunnel.
- Proceed through the tunnel until you find a loose grate. Push through it to enter an auditorium.
- In the auditorium, interact with a skeleton to obtain the “skeleton key.”
- Locate a contraption with a key-shaped hole. Insert the skeleton key into it.
- Solve the first puzzle by aligning the key with the triangular latches using the outer circle. Move the key southwest, southeast, and then northeast to trigger all the latches.
- Return to the room with the red organism and insert the skeleton key into the metal lock. It will open the shutters around the room.
- Head left and take the elevator to the second floor. Follow the fleeing creature through the archway.
- In the second-level room, approach the Bridge Machine control panel. Choose the left archway and cross the bridge.
- Solve the second puzzle by catching the spinning latches with the moving key. Activate the key when it aligns with a latch.
- Stop the spinning fan by following the path to the right and disabling it by removing the fleshy cords connected to a device.
- The creature will attack you, but after a cutscene, it will merge with you, granting you access to the bolt rifle.
- Proceed through the fan and follow the tunnel to find the third key puzzle.
- Solve the puzzle by aligning the key with the latches positioned at northeast, southeast, and southwest.
- Install a key implant in the room below using the key implant machine. Proceed to the opposite side and open the door using the bolt rifle.
- Return to the room where the second lock puzzle was found. Use the Bridge Machine to create a bridge to the left passage.
- Access the control panel inside the Bridge Machine and spray acid into the tunnel filled with dead bodies.
- Find the fourth key puzzle at the end of the tunnel and align the key with the latches at northeast, southeast, and southwest.
- Return to the room with the red organism and insert the fully upgraded skeleton key into the lock mechanism. It will expose a control panel.
- Activate the newly created control panel to strip off the top of the skeleton key, revealing its inner workings.
- Solve the inner workings puzzle by aligning the white notches with the red notches by moving the rings and canals accordingly.
- Cross around and interact with the control panel inside the opened bulb to obtain the fleshy key-shaped organism and the Stock Spider.
- Use the flesh key to unlock the door opposite where the skeleton key was found. Proceed until you reach another locked door and unlock it using the flesh key.
- Activate the elevator in the room below and prepare for recurring attacks from the Parasite.
- Activate the machine in the corner to allow the Stock Spider to heal you with its orbs.
- Proceed through the door on the right and unlock the subsequent locked door using the flesh key. Use the elevator to conclude Act 2.
ACT 3 Walkthrough
Act 3 begins as you reach the bottom of the elevator accessed during Act 2. You’ll emerge in a hallway with three paths. The left path leads to a locked door that requires a higher-level flesh key. So, let’s start by upgrading the flesh key.
Flesh Key: Level 2 Upgrade:
- Head down the central tunnel and follow the path around.
- You’ll come across a large machine with a glowing constellation chart.
- Activate the machine to upgrade the flesh key to level 2.
- Return to the locked door and use the flesh key to open it.
- Descend the stairs and face your first real foe, a crawling spitter.
- Take it down with two headshots while avoiding its poisonous spit.
- Access the control panel behind the spitter to activate a fan.
- The fan creates a path at the bottom, allowing you to progress.
- Activate another control panel to reveal a path on the elevated walkway.
- Deal with another crawling spitter and a new enemy, the standing spitter.
- Head back to the split in the path and take the right route.

Loading Bay Puzzle:
- Along the path, you’ll find a tunnel on your left.
- This leads back to the area where you upgraded the flesh key.
- Take a right near the railing and go through the hole in the fan.
- You’ll reach a long walkway overlooking a loading bay.
- Use the control panel in the center of the walkway.
- It activates the carriage sphere, allowing you to step inside.
- The sphere rotates around a pillar in the loading bay.
- When it stops, exit and activate another control panel to open a new path.
- Enter the tunnel and eliminate the crawling spitter.
- Follow the route, ignore the patrolling creature, and reach a split in the path.
Freeing the Sphere Carriage:
- The right path leads to a small floating platform with a crane.
- Take the left path first and remember the split for later.
- Cross a suspended sphere carriage and keep pushing along the route.
- Prepare for combat as you enter the large tower ahead.
- Use a control panel to force a trapped sphere carriage to rise, breaking through fleshy veins.
- Deal with a crawling spitter and ascend a slope to find a health station.
- Take a left and eliminate two standing spitters and a crawling spitter.
- Enter the next room, avoid the spitter tentacle, and head up the slope.
- Encounter another standing spitter and continue through the tunnel.
- Re-enter the sphere carriage tower on the third floor.
- Activate a control panel to send the sphere carriage up and out of the tower.
- Defeat two crawling spitters and enter the tunnel on the right.
- Emerge in the loading bay and head to the back of the area.
- Interact with the power bank on the left podium to power up the sphere carriage.
Getting the Pistol:
- Approach the sphere carriage and cross to the other side.
- Witness a cutscene of the parasite causing damage.
- Enter the room on your left to find a cabinet with the pistol.
- Interact with the ammo station on the opposite wall to fill the pistol with ammo.
- Leave the room and face two standing spitters and a crawling spitter.
- Utilize the pistol to aim for the head and take them down.
- Enter the next room and access the large panel with glowing lights.
Turning Node Puzzle 1:
- Solve a puzzle with four turning nodes and cables connecting them.
- Rotate the cables and nodes to make all nodes glow yellow.
- Align the arrows on the nodes accordingly to solve the puzzle.
- Retrieve a power bank from the compartment next to the puzzle.
- Return to the podium mechanism and insert the power bank on the right.
- Ride the elevator to the second floor and proceed to a small open area.
- Eliminate two standing spitters and a crawling spitter.
Turning Node Puzzle 2:
- Solve another node puzzle with two new nodes added.
- Connect the upper-middle node’s cable to the top node for activation.
- Move the cables and nodes to align the arrows and activate the nodes.
- Retrieve a power bank and insert it into the podium mechanism.
Escaping the Loading Bay:
- Ride the carriage sphere and face another cutscene of the parasite.
- Reload and proceed to a fork in the road, taking a right.
- Defeat a standing spitter and two crawling spitters.
- Open a gate with a bolt rifle panel and pass through.
- Encounter a new monster, a charger, and lead it back to the circular room.
- Return to the circular room and open a gate with another bolt rifle panel.
- Enter the gate and cross the room to reach a doorway.
- Face a charger and defeat it.
- Follow the path, defeat a standing spitter, and continue down the tunnel.
- Reach a broken sphere carriage and defeat a charger.
- Proceed down the path, defeat crawling spitters, and reach an ammo station.
- Open a gate with a bolt rifle panel and enter the elevator.
- Ride it to the bottom to complete Act 3.
ACT 4 Walkthrough
- After exiting the elevator from Act 3, head forward. You’ll come across a path split. The left path has an ammo station, but it’s guarded by enemies. It’s recommended to take the right path.
- As you continue, a spitter tentacle will emerge from the ceiling. Shoot it down and proceed to encounter a giant creature attached to the floor. Your objective is to break into the creature and access its facilities.
- Head up the ramp to your right and activate the control panel. This will open a bulbous sack on the creature’s body. Minions will be summoned, so eliminate them.
- Go down the ramp, take a right, and use the bone bridge to enter the creature’s body.
- Inside, you’ll find a large panel with a maze puzzle. Activate the switch in front of the panel to move the puzzle upwards. Your goal is to find two more maze puzzles and raise them all inside the creature’s torso.
- Once the first maze puzzle is raised, turn around and find a path to the left of the entrance. Proceed with caution.
- About halfway down the path, enemies will appear. If you have ammo, eliminate them while using nearby terrain as cover. If you’re low on ammo, use the bolt rifle strategically to take them down.
- Move slowly through this section, as ammo is scarce. After defeating all the enemies, continue along the path.
- Eventually, you’ll reach the center of the monster. Head directly north and descend a ramp towards a terminal. This terminal contains the maze puzzle you just raised.
- Circle around the maze puzzle terminal and head down the path behind it. In the room ahead, you’ll find the shotgun in a gun cabinet. Reload the shotgun and prepare to use it.
- Access the nearby ammo station and restock. Then, head towards the elevator at the end of the passage.
- Ride the elevator to the second floor, where you’ll encounter standing spitters. Take them down with your pistol and proceed through the tunnel to your right.
- In the large room ahead, defeat the charger using the shotgun, and then eliminate the crawling and standing spitters using the pistol.
- Head up the ramp to your right and access the elevated walkway. At the end of the path, you’ll find a key upgrade machine. Use the flesh key to receive level 4 access.
- Return to the ground floor and unlock the level 4 locked door in the back right-hand corner. Follow the route until you reenter the creature.
- On the third floor of the creature’s inner workings, replenish your supplies at the health station. Then, activate the control panel opposite the health station to raise the second maze puzzle.
- Defeat the crawling spitters that spawn and descend a level. Open the locked door on the left-hand side of the second floor using the level 4 flesh key.
- Enter the wound in the creature’s side and find another maze puzzle. Raise it using the panel beside it.
- Return to the area where you found the shotgun and unlock another locked door using the level 4 flesh key.
- Proceed down the corridor until you reach an elevator. Ride it to the next floor and defeat the crawling spitter waiting for you.
- Unlock the gate ahead using the bolt rifle control panel. Proceed and defeat the charger lurking in the area.
- Replenish your supplies at the nearby health station and take the elevator to the third floor. Defeat the standing spitter and access the control panel to create the third hole in the creature’s side.
- Choose whether to risk confronting two chargers for ammo or head straight to the third maze puzzle. If you need ammo, head down the corridor, restock, and quickly return to the elevator.
- Descend to the second floor and defeat the charger, crawling spitters, and standing spitter using the shotgun and bolt rifle.
- Enter the doorway on the right side of the passage and find the final maze puzzle. Raise it.
- Return to the maze puzzle hub and access the control panel in front of the first maze panel. Solve the rotating maze puzzle by moving the white dot to meet the orange dot in the center.
- After completing the puzzle, the chamber will rise into the air like an elevator. Follow the path to your left and reach a new area where you can see the desert outside.
- Continue down the path until you reach a carriage suspended from a railing. Enter the carriage and use the control panel to travel across the desert to a giant palace.
ACT 5 Walkthrough
- Proceed forward and ascend the main chamber of the large castle structure.
- Descend the staircase on the left to reach a lower level.
- Find two bodies with small switches and a jar of red liquid in one of the switches.
- Take the central corridor and use the red jar to open up the path ahead.
- Next to the opened path, find two pods with small creatures and replenish your ammo and health.
- Pick up one of the creatures and place it into the large mechanical body across the room.
- Use your Melee Prod weapon to burst open the pod and kill the creature inside.
- Return the creature to the machine and interact to crush it, filling up the jar with its blood.
- Place the jar into one of the switches to impregnate one of the bodies.
- Return to the room with the pods and repeat the process to impregnate the other body.
- The second time, the creature in the body will take control and initiate a boss fight.
- Strafe around the room, allowing the boss to shoot grenades, and destroy the red sacks on his backpack when he crouches down.
- After defeating the boss, pick up his gun and initiate another fight by shooting the pod in his chest.
- Shoot the pod when he opens his chest to release the fetus creature.
- Defeat the boss again and pick up the creature and the boss’ grenade launcher.
- Crush the fetus in the machine to fill up the jar halfway.
- Return to the room and proceed to a new area through a small pathway.
- Stand on the pressure plate and shoot a grenade through the hole to lower a gate.
- Find a device on the wall to kill the parasite on your arm temporarily.
- Progress while minimizing health loss and use the key upgrade machine.
- Return to the previous pressure plate and find another device to kill the parasite.
- Open the door and find a machine at the back of the room, completing the run.
- Interact with the machine as the parasite burrows through your chest, then control the claw to remove it.
- Return to the front of the castle, go downstairs, and insert the jar into the second switch to impregnate the second person.
- The platform will raise, allowing you to explore the area with the bodies.
- Interact with the large device at the front of the room to trigger a sequence where you wake up in one of the impregnated creature bodies.
- Approach your original body, interact with the statue to move it away, and pick up your body.
- Stand on the pressure plate in front of the large door and switch to the other impregnated body.
- Attach a key to the body using the device at the top of the stairs and interact with the console to fully unlock the door.
- Switch back to your original body and walk across the bridge to watch the final cutscene.

Driven by the sight of The Crater, a foreboding citadel in the distance, the protagonist embarks on a treacherous journey towards it. However, their progress is abruptly interrupted when they inadvertently fall into a colossal chasm, leading them into a vast factory known as the Assembly.
Within this recycling facility, which repurposes living organisms, the protagonist acquires the TOOLGUN and various weapons and machinery that grant them control over the facility’s technology.
Delving deeper into the heart of the Assembly, the protagonist triggers a cataclysmic event that renders them unconscious and submerged in a fluid as the facility’s arteries rupture.
In a surreal turn of events, a new being with a striking resemblance to the protagonist emerges from a shell-like structure elsewhere. This second protagonist embarks on a quest towards The Crater, only to find it overrun by hostile entities, adding a new layer of danger and mystery to their journey.

Assuming control of two androids known as Shells, the protagonist, now merged with the parasite, attempts to transport their own wounded body towards a mysterious energy field.
