Here are some simple tips and tricks for Persona 5 Tactica beginners:
- Use One More Attack: When you attack an enemy without cover or resistance, you gain an extra turn. Chaining these attacks can really improve your chances.
- Stay in Cover: Ending your turn in cover reduces damage and prevents enemies from getting extra attacks, so always aim for cover.
- Skills Disrupt Enemies: Certain skills can knock enemies out of cover, making them easier to take down.
- Maximize All-Out Attack: Try deploying your team in a triangle around a fallen enemy to unleash a powerful group attack.
- Use “One More” to gain extra movement: Triggering “One More” resets your movement, helping you cover more ground in a turn.
- Swap team members regularly: Swapping team members will give them buffs, increasing their health and abilities for the next battle.
- Experiment with skills: You can easily adjust your character’s abilities, so try out different skills to find what works best for you.
- Focus on mission objectives: Sometimes completing objectives is more important than defeating every enemy, so pay attention to what the mission wants you to do.
- Skipping a turn can help: If you don’t have good attack options, skipping a turn can provide a useful buff to your character’s next move.
- Don’t forget the undo option: you can reset your actions unlimitedly, so don’t be afraid to use it to fix any mistakes or try new strategies.
These tips are designed to make the game easier to play and help you make smarter moves as you explore the world of Persona 5: Tactics!

In Persona 5 Tactica, you are responsible for leading a team across a grid-like map, fighting enemies in turn-based combat. You control members of the Phantom Thieves and Erina of the Rebel Legion. During combat, you can hide to reduce damage or block attacks entirely. You have choices during combat, such as using guns for ranged attacks or summoning powerful characters, each with different abilities that affect how your enemies move. Knocking down an enemy without cover gives you an extra turn.
If you and your team surround enemies in a triangle, you can unleash a super-powerful attack called the “Triple Threat” that hits all enemies in the area. As you play the game, you’ll collect more characters, providing your team with additional skills. You can find these by winning battles or merging different characters together. As the story unfolds, you’ll travel across maps inspired by three real-world revolutions, fighting enemy units along the way.
