In Pacific Avenue, you can enhance the storage capacity of your car by using side stands. These side stands are part of the seventh technology tree under the Manufacturing Station Expansion category. To unlock the side stands, you need 2 Steel Plates and varying amounts of Stability Energy.

Once unlocked, go to the Car Storage tab and research the first node, Side Storage. This research requires 0.5 Stable Energy. Once you complete the research, you will receive the blueprint to build a Side Storage Module. To build a Side Storage Module, you will need 2 Scrap Metal, 4 Tape, and 12 Cloth. These modules are designed to be attached to the Side Shelves you unlocked previously. Each Side Storage Module adds 43 storage slots, divided into three boxes.

It’s worth noting that you can attach up to four side storage modules to a single side rack. However, keep in mind that the side rack can also be used for other accessories such as floodlights and spare fuel tanks. This gives you the flexibility to customize your car to your needs and preferences while you’re driving down Pacific Drive.

Pacific Avenue Inventory Storage

In Pacific Avenue, efficient inventory management is crucial, as there is limited space for storing resources such as tools, copper wire and chemicals, as well as spare parts for your car. Fortunately, there are ways to expand the storage capacity of your personal backpack and car.

To increase your backpack capacity, you need to go to Oppy’s Auto Repair Shop and build a new workbench. At the Manufacturing Station, find the Assembly Station, which can be identified by the backpack icon. Before building this station, make sure you have unlocked the Matter Disintegrator, which requires 35 Scrap Metal, 4 Gears, 4 Electronics, and 0.8 Stabilization Energy. The Assembly Station itself requires 7 Scrap Metal, 15 Plastics, 2 Chemicals, 2 Gas Cylinders, and 0.3 Stabilization Energy.

Once the Equipment Station is built, interact with it to explore the upgrade options for your equipment. At the top of the options, you’ll find the Medium Backpack (requires 20 Cloth). This upgrade will increase the backpack’s inventory space to 66 slots and provide six quick slots, giving you more room to carry the essentials during your trip to the Pacific Drive.

Pacific Avenue

Pacific Avenue is a 2024 survival game from Ironwood Studios and Kepler Interactive. It takes place in the picturesque Pacific Northwest. Players can travel through this picturesque land on foot or in a wagon to escape. The game uses a first-person perspective and metal monsters will rush to grab the player’s vehicle, bringing challenges to the player.

Beyond survival, the wagon is a customizable asset that provides repair options and personalization in the player’s garage. Development on Pacific Road began in 2019, when creative director Alexander Dracott conceived the game while driving across the Olympic Peninsula.

Pacific Road was released on PlayStation 5 and Windows on February 22, 2024, and received critical acclaim for its immersive atmosphere, well-crafted characters, and detailed vehicle design. Despite the praise, the game was criticized for being repetitive and challenging, making the player’s journey of survival both fun and difficult.

Pacific Avenue Gameplay

In Pacific Roads, players will embark on a survival adventure set in the 1998 Olympic-restricted Pacific Northwest. The game unfolds from a first-person perspective, and players will traverse the land on foot or in a station wagon.

A unique feature of the game is that players can customize their vehicles in the garage, which serves as the game’s central base of operations. Vehicle diagnostics are managed through a headset, allowing players to troubleshoot issues such as unusual vehicle behavior (such as the horn unexpectedly sounding when turning the steering wheel). Repairs in the game range from immediate repairs such as changing a flat tire and using a blowtorch to more complex tasks handled in the garage.

The Invention Station in the garage becomes a key resource to collect materials and build machines to open new routes, refuel cars, and destroy areas. Facing challenges such as metal monsters grabbing cars and weather factors affecting vehicle handling, players must develop repair strategies and navigate electrical anomalies and obstacles.

The journey isn’t just about survival; players can discover crafting recipes, blueprints, and interact with non-player characters to escape the Olympic Exclusion Zone, while collecting energy cores in each level to unlock gates and return to the garage, triggering a shift in the game’s dynamics with increased hostility and an impending storm.
