Following a limited release, the album will be available more widely on Friday, April 26. Neil Young and his band Crazy Horse have announced the release of the album in conjunction with their upcoming Love Earth Tour, which will take place in North America in April and May.

Young expressed his excitement about the new album, saying it was made “for horse lovers” and captures the energy of their performances. He shared a version of the song “Cinnamon Girl” from the album, which was recorded live at a show at Toronto’s RIVOLI Club on November 4, 2023.

Neil Young was born on November 12, 1945, in Toronto, Canada, to Scott Alexander Young and Edna Bullough Ragland “Lassie” Young. His father was a journalist and sportswriter, and his mother was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Soon after Neil was born, his family moved to rural Omemee, Ontario.

At the age of five, Young contracted polio during a large outbreak in Ontario, which left him partially paralyzed on his left side. The family spent some time in Florida to find good weather for Neil before returning to Canada. Young’s family moved frequently during his childhood, living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Toronto.
