Challenges in Tribal Hunting

In the “Horde Hunt” mode, your main goal is to collect bones from regular zombies and exchange them for various rewards. In addition, the “Featured Zombies” section offers weekly challenges that require players to eliminate special zombies of a certain type and accumulate enough bones to claim rewards. The rotation includes armored zombies in the first week, then hellhounds, and finally mimics.

In MW3’s Horde Hunts, zombies drop bones, which players must actively collect to have a chance to unlock a range of attractive rewards. The challenges players should focus on when fighting regular zombies in Horde Hunts are as follows:

  • Epic Aether Tool – 75 Zombie Bones
  • Speed Cola – 155 Zombie Bones
  • Deadshot Daiquiri – 310 Zombie Bones
  • Epic Aether Tool – 625 Zombie Bones
  • Jugger-Nog – 1,250 Zombie Bones
  • Legendary Ether Tool – 2,500 Zombie Bones
  • Elemental Pop – 5,000 Zombie Bones
  • Ray Gun Box – 10,000 Zombie Bones

These challenges add an extra level of engagement for players as they take part in Horde Hunts and work to collect enough Zombie Bones to unlock a variety of valuable rewards.

Week 1: Armored Zombies

Players who successfully conquer all three featured Zombies challenges during the three weeks of the event will receive the ultimate reward: the “Killshot” Swagger Operator skin.

During the third week of the event, players can grab their chance to unlock the Killshot skin in both MW3 and Warzone by completing Horde Hunt challenges. For players who want the skin but don’t want to delve into the Zombies challenges, MW3 has simplified the process by incorporating Zombies into Hardpoint mode, now called “Hordepoint.” This adjustment is designed to cater to players who prefer a different gameplay experience while still providing a chance to earn the coveted reward.

Modern Combat 3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, released in 2023, is a first-person shooter game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. As the sequel to Modern Warfare II (2022), it is the third game in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series and the twentieth game in the entire Call of Duty series.

Available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S from November 10, 2023, the game retains the realism of its predecessor, the modern setting, and continues the storyline of the sub-series. The story revolves around Task Force 141, a multinational special operations force, hunting down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist who plans to provoke World War III.

Modern Warfare III’s multiplayer includes 16 remastered maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009), with more new maps planned for post-launch. The game also introduces a Zombies mode, co-developed by Treyarch, offering an open-world player-versus-environment experience.

Initially planned as an expansion for Modern Warfare II, Sledgehammer Games turned it into a standalone release after developing Call of Duty: Vanguard (2021). The game was officially announced in August 2023 after a leak, with a showcase event and public beta in October. Modern Warfare III received mixed reviews upon release, with criticism particularly directed at its campaign mode.
