Love Island USA Season 3 Overview
“Love Island”, the full name of Love Island, also known as Love Island USA internationally, is an American dating reality show originated from the British TV series “Love Island”. CBS announced and commissioned the series on August 8, 2018.
The show premiered on CBS on July 9, 2019, with Arielle Vandenberg serving as host for the first three seasons. In season four, Sarah Hyland takes over as host. The show was renewed for a second season on August 1, 2019, and was originally scheduled to premiere on May 21, 2020.
However, production has been delayed due to the ongoing spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Season 2 was ultimately filmed at the Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas, with strict quarantine measures in place, and premiered on August 24, 2020. On January 27, 2021, the show was renewed for a third season, which was filmed in Hawaii.
The third season premiered on July 7, 2021, and was broadcast on CBS in the United States and CTV in Canada. Arielle Vandenberg returns as host, with Matthew Hoffman providing voiceover. This season was filmed at a villa in Niñoel, Hawaii.
