In Yakuza Gaiden: The Man Who Erased the Name, players play as Kazuma Kiryu and explore two areas of Japan: Sotenbori in Osaka and Isesaki Ijincho in Yokohama. There is also a third place called the Castle where you can do various activities. These include classic mini-games such as karaoke, pocket racing, managing a cabaret club and participating in a fighting arena.
A new character named “Akame” provides Kiryu with side quests. Kiryu has two distinct fighting styles: Yakuza, which is a tough fighting style, and Agent, which focuses on precision and speed and uses high-tech gadgets. The game also features some classic Sega Master System games, such as Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Alien Syndrome, both of which Kiryu can play. In addition, there are arcade games such as “Daytona USA 2” and “Fighting Vipers 2”, which add extra fun to the game.
Like a Dragon Gaiden demo
Unlike some games that offer a mix of demos from different series, Dragon Dragon Gaiden stands out by offering a demo specifically for RGG Studio’s upcoming game Dragon Dragon: Infinite Wealth. This approach adds a unique touch to the gaming experience, giving fans an exclusive look at the highly anticipated mainline title.
This goes against modern norms, where bundled demos are increasingly rare thanks to digital downloads. By employing this nostalgic practice of rewarding demos, Like a Dragon Gaiden gives players an enjoyable taste of what’s to come, building anticipation for next year’s big release.
