League of Legends
League of Legends, also known as LoL, is a multiplayer online arena video game developed and published by Riot Games in 2009. It was inspired by Defense of the Ancients, a custom map from Warcraft III, and Riot’s founders wanted to create a standalone game in the same genre. The game is free-to-play and generates revenue through purchasable character customization options. It is available for Microsoft Windows and macOS.

In League of Legends, two teams of five players engage in player-versus-player battles while defending and capturing their half of the map. Each player controls a champion with unique abilities and play style. During matches, champions can accumulate experience points, gold coins, and purchase items to defeat their opponents. In Summoner’s Rift, the game’s main mode, one team wins by advancing on the enemy base and destroying their hub.

Surprise Yuumi redoes the online server
Last week, Riot surprisingly announced that they would finally address the long-standing complaints of League of Legends players and make changes to controversial champion Yuumi. The changes are extensive, affecting all of her abilities, and according to Dot Esports, they will fundamentally alter her gameplay. These changes include a series of buffs, nerfs, and complete ability reworks, with the exception of her additional abilities, which will remain unchanged. Although Riot previously said in December 2022 that they were keeping a close eye on unpopular support options, the extent of these modifications is surprising. We’ll have to wait and see how they affect Yuumi’s performance in the game.
