The story of “The Dragon Princess” takes place in the magical continent of Sadia, where there are six original sources of magic – the moon, sky, sun, earth, ocean and stars. Centuries ago, dragons, elves and humans lived in harmony, but humans who could not freely use primitive magic turned to dark magic, driven by the life essence of magical creatures. This led to a conflict that split Xadia in two.
The series begins with the human king Harrow and his advisor Lord Velen slaying the Sky Dragon and stealing the Dragon Prince’s egg. In retaliation, the Moonshadow Elf Assassins target the human princes Callum and Izran, who set out with the Elf Assassin Layla to return the egg and restore peace.
Throughout their journey, the characters face various challenges, confrontations, and manipulations. They encountered dark magic, political strife, and the efforts of Velen, who allied himself with a startouched elf named Aravos to wage war on Xadia.
In later seasons, the story continues with the characters developing their relationships and facing new obstacles. The conflict escalates as alliances are formed and battles occur, but eventually, they succeed in reuniting the Dragon Prince with his mother, temporarily ending the conflict between humans and elves.
In Season 4, which picks up two years later, the land of Xadia and the human kingdom work to improve their relationship. Callum, now a high mage, and King Ezran embark on a mission to prevent Aravos from escaping and discover more about his prison. At the same time, Viren’s daughter Claudia attempts to use black magic to extend her father’s life, which brings new confrontations and challenges to the protagonists.
