Ireland to compete in USA 2024 T20 World Cup: Ireland has announced a 15-member strong squad for the upcoming 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by West Indies and the United States. The event is scheduled to take place from June 1, 2024 to June 29, 2024, with competition taking place at multiple venues in the Caribbean and the United States.

The team will be led by experienced opener Paul Stirling. The team is preparing for a tough challenge in Group A, where they will face cricket giants India and Pakistan as well as the United States and Canada.

Known for his aggressive batting, Sterling not only possesses top-level firepower but also valuable experience as a captain. He has previously led Ireland in 22 T20 Internationals and his presence has been crucial to the team’s performance.
Interestingly, Cricket Ireland has revealed three different line-ups for the upcoming three T20I events: the series against Pakistan, the triangular series against Scotland and Netherlands, and the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
A core team of 14 players will compete in all three events. Especially in the T20 World Cup, Ireland strengthened their squad with the introduction of seamer Josh Little.
