In April 2019, Last Epoch entered beta and became available to everyone through Steam Early Access. Initially, the full game was set to be released in April 2020, but plans changed in December 2019, with the release rescheduled to Q4 2020.

In October 2020, EHG suffered a setback and had to cancel the Mac version of the game. The reason was the challenges posed by Apple’s switch to ARM processors. In December 2020, EHG informed the community that the game’s release would be further delayed, to 2021. In March 2023, they launched a multiplayer beta to give players a sneak peek at the game’s upcoming features, and it turned out that the wait was worth it.

The game was officially launched on February 21, 2024. Throughout the development process, Last Epoch continued to evolve, and the multiplayer beta allowed players to experience exciting new features before the full version was released.
