How to use Lock Diary in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies?
In Modern Warfare 3: Zombies, the Locked Diary is an important item that can help unlock a special area called the Dark Aether Rift. But just having a journal isn’t enough, you need a few other items to make it work. First, you need to collect three more items: a security camera, a pill bottle, and a dog collar.

These items are rare and require some effort to find. For example, security cameras can be obtained by knocking down harvester balls using special weapon tricks. You can then use the Aether Tears to teleport and complete the Marking quest to obtain the Golden Security Camera.
Likewise, the vial requires using another weapon skill on the Aetherhive and going through a series of steps to obtain it. Dog collars require some specific actions for kennels and dealing with tough hellhounds. After getting all four items, head to an island in a high-threat zone. There, you’ll see four points marked for each item: a snowflake for a locked diary, a lightning bolt for a security camera, a danger symbol for a pill bottle, and a flame symbol for a dog collar. Place each item in its marked spot.
Once everything is in place, a portal will appear and this is where the real action begins. Many powerful zombies will come out of this portal. Fight them and defeat them to obtain the Mark of Dark Aether. Now, pick up this Dark Aether Sigil and use it to activate the portal to the Dark Aether Rift.
Within this rift, there will be three contracts waiting for you. Completing these contracts will make these Dark Aether Rifts permanently available. Each time you wish to enter these rifts, you will need one of these Dark Aether Sigils. You can obtain them by completing certain quests or finding them while exploring Dark Aether locations.

“Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3” gameplay
The gameplay of Modern Warfare III is very similar to its predecessor and other Call of Duty games. It brings back features like slide cancellation. The campaign offers both linear missions and “open combat missions,” giving players more freedom in achieving their goals. In multiplayer, all 16 maps of Modern Warfare 2 will be available at launch.
Players can vote for maps in the lobby, which will give them more health and take longer to kill. The “red dot” minimap is back, allowing players to spot enemies on radar when shooting without a silencer. Classic modes like Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint are returning, as well as a new mode called Cutthroat. Ground War and War Mode also make a comeback.
The game will also feature a new open-world PvE zombies mode. Developed by Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games, it’s a departure from the old turn-based survival style. Up to 24 players will team up on a large map called Urzikstan. They will face zombies and AI-controlled enemies, complete objectives, collect loot and extract items.
Maps are not rounds, but are divided into “zones” of different difficulty levels. After 45 minutes, the “Aether Storm” begins, and players have 15 minutes to leave with their loot. This can carry over into the next game. It includes familiar elements such as weapon purchases, special drinks, and mystery boxes. Story missions will also be part of the mode, driving the narrative.
