How do I manually save my game in Nightingale?
The game Nightingale’s introduction gives a comprehensive overview of its features, but one important aspect is not made clear: how to save your progress. In a survival game like Nightingale, players don’t want to lose their progress and have to start over. However, this game does not have a manual save function.
Unlike many other games, where players can manually save their progress at any time, Nightingale does not offer this option. The lack of a manual save feature may come as a surprise, and it is probably a feature many players wish the game had. However, the developers have implemented an auto-save feature that kicks in when the game is closed.
When players exit Nightingale, the game automatically saves their progress. This means that even if players are unable to manually save their progress during gameplay, they can rest assured that their hard work and progress will not be lost when they close the game. Although there is no manual save option, the autosave feature ensures that players can continue their adventure from where they left off without having to worry about losing their progress.

The lack of a manual save slot in Nightingale is likely due to the multiplayer nature of the game. Unlike traditional single-player games where players can save their progress at any time, Nightingale requires an internet connection to play, even in single-player mode. So why wouldn’t a single-player game like Nightingale support a manual save option? While the developers didn’t offer a clear explanation, it’s speculated that this decision has to do with the game’s online focus.
Since Nightingale emphasizes multiplayer interaction and shared experiences, the developers may have prioritized an autosave feature over a manual save slot. While the lack of a manual save slot may be disappointing to some players, there is hope for the future. The developers may introduce a dedicated single-player mode in a future update, which may include a manual save option.
Until such an update is made, however, the method described earlier in this article remains the only way to save Nightingale progress. Players must ensure that they exit the game properly following the designated steps in order to trigger the autosave feature and preserve their progress. In the meantime, players seeking more guidance on navigating the various realms in Nightingale can explore resources such as Realm Cards to enhance their gaming experience and deepen their understanding of the game’s mechanics and environments.

Nightingale Gameplay
After a disaster on Earth, people from different dimensions fled to other worlds. These worlds are created randomly. You play as one of these travelers, trying to get back to Nightingale, a safe place created by humans in the “Faewilds” before the disaster “The Pale” happened. Nightingale is set in a Victorian gaslit fantasy world, like steampunk.
In Nightingale, you must forage for food, rest to restore your stamina, and collect items to craft tools. You can easily craft simple items, such as bed sheets. Bed sheets do not require shelter, but having shelter will help you restore more stamina.
When you craft an umbrella, you can glide around like Mary Poppins. Some creatures won’t hurt you unless you attack them. In combat, you can use melee weapons or guns. You can recruit characters who aren’t real people to help you fight and get resources. You may meet famous characters from the books like Victor Frankenstein and Mr. Hyde, who will give you quests.
Once you have enough items, you can move between realms on special servers. Realms can be different environments, such as a desert, forest, or swamp. You can choose the type of world you want using cards, and you can play alone or with up to 6 other people. You can view the game from a first-person or third-person perspective.
