How to defeat the Broken Lord in Lords of the Fallen?
Observe the Broken Monarch Upon entering the area, you’ll see a large, insane-looking king mourning in front of a statue. This is the Broken Monarch boss we need to fight. However, when you walk in, he won’t even acknowledge you, preferring to continue crying. This gives you time to enchant your weapon or prepare any other spells you might want to use.
Phase One: Initial Strike Once you get close and start dealing damage, the Broken Monarch won’t be happy about being interrupted. You can run in and take a bunch of hits, but be prepared to dodge at least four times in a row when he starts slamming the ground in range and sending out hellish blasts. If you time it right, you can dodge these.
Phase 2: Release his statue head After these shock waves, go back and attack the Broken Lord again a few times to start the real battle. You’ll see a cutscene where he rips off the head of his weeping statue to use as a new weapon.
Stage 3: Combo Attacks Now is where we get to the real fight against the Broken Lord in Lords of the Fallen. The first thing he’s going to do is run over and do a full-on attack on you with the statue’s head. Don’t think that’s it, though, as he’ll usually chain his first attack into a full five-hit combo, starting with the same hellish sweeping attack and then jumping into the air with a ground slam. This series of attacks should be easily avoided if you back off and keep your distance.
Attack Opportunity After this slam, the Broken Monarch will recover for a second or two before returning to fight. Beware of his quick dash as he will try to catch you. Avoid it and you’ll have a perfect window open to deal some nice damage as he lies on the floor in front of you.

In response to Hellwave attacks his next attack is usually a powerful attack using the statue’s head. Similar to the last attack, if you can dodge the attack from the side, you can make him take more damage. His next attack may be difficult to time. This is a jumping slam attack that emits a wave of hellfire from the location of impact.
If you back away from the onslaught, you still need to dodge the hellwave. He’ll usually follow up with a series of slamming attacks, all of which you can use to dodge and attack once or twice before getting ready to dodge the next one.
Stage 4: When the Broken Monarch boss in Hellwave and Blade’s Fallen King reaches half its health, it will let out a loud cry and fly into the air. He’ll charge up with infernal energy and then slam back into it, creating a massive wave of infernal energy. Make sure you back off when he charges so you have as much time as possible to prepare and dodge the hellfire wave. Now he’ll charge again, but this time just slam his fists into the ground and start creating hell pools with swords falling from the sky. Getting hit by them will quickly increase your infernal status bar, so try to keep moving to avoid them.
Close Combat Chances When you see the Broken Lord’s eyes sparkle and he starts jumping into the center of the arena, you actually want to be pretty close to him for his next attack. He will begin throwing a ring of Hell Blades around the arena, followed by a second inner ring of blades.
You could avoid all of that just by standing next to him. When he finishes firing his blades, you can take advantage of his concentration to run in and deal some serious damage before he jumps back.
The final phase and Victory Shattered Monarch will now return for a mix of slamming and sweeping attacks. Take it easy. Dodge the swipe, then punish the Shattered Monarch when he overextends himself. As he roars to his knees, he is filled with infernal energy again. This time, he’ll be surrounded by close-range sprays of Hellblade. Just roll away and you should be able to avoid it without any problem.
Towards the end of the fight, keep an eye out for another Hell Nova, who will fly into the air and charge. Step back and dodge the wave again. This will be followed by charging up and spraying blades around the arena. Take advantage of this and run in while he’s vulnerable to this attack and hit him as much as you can. If you don’t get him there, you will get there soon!

Lord of the Fallen gameplay
In Lords of the Fallen, you play the game from a third-person perspective. Just like in the first game, you can use melee weapons and magic to defeat bad guys. The game’s style and combat are influenced by other games in the Souls series. You can also complete the main story with friends if you wish. There is also a player versus player mode where you can battle against other players.
When you start the game, you can create your character and choose from nine different classes. The world of the game is bigger than the 2014 game. There are two worlds in the game – one for the living, called Axiom, and another for the dead, called Umbral. Even if they are in the same place, you can use a special lantern to travel between them.
If you die, you will travel to Umbral and need to return to Axiom to get your lost experience points back. If you die in the Umbra, you will restart from your last save point and lose any experience points you did not use. Save points in each area are rare, but you can create your own using materials obtained from shadow monsters.
