Jingcheng Biology ending explanation
The final episode of Kyungseok finds Yoon Chae-ok expressing her desire for a simpler, more ordinary life and reflecting on the turbulent journey she’s been on. The intricate plot hints at a deeper connection between Chae-ok and her captor, Yukiko Maeda, adding an extra layer of complexity to their intertwined destinies.
Against this moving backdrop, Jang Tae-sang launches a daring rescue mission on his own to save Chae-ok, one that involves the strategic use of explosives. Knowing the risks, he symbolically hands the key to the pawnshop to Lady Na-wol, setting the stage for this poignant and potentially dangerous mission.
As the explosion goes off, Tae-sang is able to enter the hospital and find Chae-ok, at which point the mysterious “Kyung-sung Monster” makes a dramatic appearance. Tensions rise further as the monster confronts Kato, who faces consequences for abusing Chae-ok’s daughter. Kato uses this opportunity to use Chae-ok as leverage against Sin-hee.
The intricate web of relationships unfolds further as Tae-sang meets Chae-ok’s father, Yoon Jung-won, who is on a mission to reunite the broken family. Despite being on the verge of rescue, Chae-ok is still wanted for the assassination of Chief Ichiro. Tae-sang has the foresight to prepare the paperwork for Chae-ok and Jung-won to escape by boat to Shanghai the next day.
In a heartwarming moment, Jung-won selflessly offers to stay and use Tae-sang’s explosives to detonate the hospital. This decision stems from a newfound optimism about Chae-ok’s future, seeing a path forward with Tae-sang. True to his promise to his late wife, Jung-won decides to sacrifice himself for his daughter’s freedom.

Jingcheng Bio Release Date
“Beijing Creatures” premiered on Netflix on December 22, 2023, with a total of 10 episodes divided into two parts. The first seven episodes were released as the first part, and the remaining three episodes were released as the second part on January 5, 2024. Viewers who eagerly watched the first part only had to wait two weeks to see the conclusion of the second part, unlike the longer intervals in other series.
The decision to split the series into two episodes reflects a trend with Korean dramas and other Netflix productions. For example, another Korean drama, Glory, also adopted a two-episode format, with the first eight episodes airing in late 2022 and the second eight episodes premiering in March 2023. Fortunately, fans of Kyungseo will have a much shorter wait between episodes, making for an enhanced viewing experience.
Netflix has tried the two-part broadcast strategy in many series, including popular series such as Stranger Things and You. For example, the first seven episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 premiered in May 2022, and the last two episodes will be broadcast in July 2022. Similarly, You Season 4 is also divided into two parts, with the second half premiering one month after the first part. This method can keep the audience engaged and looking forward to it. The broadcast time of each remaining episode of Beijing Creature has not yet been determined.

The series received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The series received an approval rating of 83% from 6 critics, with an average rating of 7.3/10. The rating of 2.5/5 highlights that while the series shows promising elements, it often ignores them and continues its narrative without fully exploring them.
Despite this, Jonathan Wilson of Ready Steady Cut appreciated the show’s combination of familiar elements, acknowledging its coherent plot and high production quality. Joel Keller of Decider expressed reservations, saying the show had a compelling story amidst the ambiguity, but questioned whether the show could maintain its focus in its first season.
In contrast, Brian Lowry of CNN Entertainment believed that although the ratings of “Beijing Monster” may not be as good as “Squid Game”, its pure entertainment value surpassed that of “Squid Game” and deserved to be recognized as a hit series. MJ Marfori of TV5 Philippines praised the series for its successful blend of suspense and romance, and predicted that the series will become a global hit Korean drama.
Indonesian writer Ayu Utami found the 1940s-era sets and costumes a pleasant surprise. Overall, the series was recognized for its entertainment value, drama, and production quality, despite reservations about its narrative focus.
