granblue fantasy relink dice dice
In the game Granblue Fantasy Relink, there is a special feature called the “Roll of the Die” sigil. This unique mechanic specifically affects normal attacks, while customizable abilities remain unchanged. The effects of the mark vary by character and may affect left- and right-click attacks, but notably, Rosetta’s right-click ability is unaffected.

The key detail to understand is that the conversion to 1 damage occurs after the critical hit check, resulting in a situation where the damage output reads “1 and 1!!” Based on player observations and statistics collected during testing, the frequency of damage multipliers is as follows: 1 point of damage is dealt 46% of the time, 1x damage is dealt 27% of the time, 2x damage is dealt 16% of the time, 3 The time for multiplied damage is 10%, and only 1% causes 4x damage.
When the “dice rolling” imprint is active, the total damage after one minute shows a difference of 568-892, while without the imprint, the total damage remains a consistent 925. Left-click spammers who rely primarily on fast and frequent attacks will likely gain the most in terms of overall DPS, especially if the distribution of damage multipliers favors a 4x roll. However, for those concerned with damage windows or engaging in specific gameplay scenarios, this mechanic may hinder the overall damage of normal attacks.
Sigil Scroll in Granblue Fantasy Relink
In Granblue Fantasy: Relink, “The Roll of the Die Sigil” plays a crucial role in changing the maximum damage you can do in combat. This particular sigil is a game changer as it provides the opportunity to go beyond the usual damage cap restrictions. Sigils take their name from the dice rolling mechanic in the game, adding an element of chance to the damage dealt.
When equipped, the Dice Mark roll can make your damage output unpredictable. It introduces variability by affecting the damage you deal to enemies. This means that instead of always hitting the same damage number, your attacks can go beyond the usual limits, giving you the opportunity to do higher damage in certain situations.
It’s worth noting that despite the additional element of chance, the final maximum damage cap for a single attack appears to be 999,999, as indicated by the description of the dice properties. This shows that while Sigil introduces variability, there is still a predefined cap on the damage you can achieve in the game.

To get the most out of the dice imprint roll, players may want to experiment in practice mode. Trying out different combinations of attack or damage sigils while looking at the damage numbers can help determine how effective that unique sigil is at breaking the damage cap and achieving higher damage output.

Development of Granblue Fantasy: Relink began in August 2016 with an announcement titled Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link. The game is a collaboration between PlatinumGames and Cygames, with notable talent including composers Nobuo Uematsu and Tsutomu Narita and artist Hideo Minaba.
Originally released on PlayStation 4 in September 2016 and scheduled for release in 2018, the game is set in the same fictional world as the original Granblue Fantasy, but explores different locations and features familiar characters. The game’s gameplay was first revealed at GranBlue Fes 2017, where it was revealed that the game will feature a four-player cooperative multiplayer mode or a single-player mode with three AI characters.
In December 2018, the official game name was “Granblue Fantasy: Relink”. However, by February 2019, PlatinumGames exited the project, with Cygames taking over full development duties. PlatinumGames’ Relink Director Yasuyuki Kaji continued to develop the game with Cygames until completion.
Due to delays from the original 2018 release plan, Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s release date was rescheduled, first to 2022, then further to 2023, and finally scheduled for February 1, 2024. In order to provide players with a preview, we will allow fans to experience the game before it is officially launched on January 11, 2024.
