“In the Mountain” is a mission in “Genshin Impact”, set in the snow-capped Dragon’s Back Mountains. Here’s a simple walkthrough to help you get it done:

Investigate strange ice (shard location 1):
Talk to Aerith at Dragonspine’s base camp.

Collect Scarlet Quartz from the red veins and hit the strange ice four times to unlock the Frost Tree.
Continue to investigate:
Follow the main road until you reach a short flight of stairs on the left that leads to the Burial City – the ancient palace area.
Make your way through the windy ice cave near Statue Seven.
Unfrozen fragments (fragment locations 2 and 3):
Find the second fragment in the Starlight Cave. Activate totems, defeat enemies, and collect Scarlet Quartz to lower the shard’s health.

The third fragment is found south of the teleport point between Buried City – Suburbs and Wyrmrest. Use Cryo characters to solve totem puzzles.
To get to Longji Peak:
Return to the Wind Cave near the Statue of Seven. Follow the path up, avoiding the falling icicles. Activate Anemo Butterfly to reach the top of the mountain.
Thaw all the pieces again:
Use the Crimson Quartz Ball to find and hit the three shards on top of Dragonspine. The location is marked on the map.
Watch out for enemies and use fire sources to stay warm.
mission accomplished:
Investigate the following areas to unlock the pinnacle of Windagnir territory.
Report to Aires at Base Camp to complete the mission and unlock the frozen state.
