F1 23 Hungarian settings
Formula 1 racing at Hungary’s Hungaroring presents drivers with unique challenges due to its tense and twisty nature. Overtaking opportunities are limited, with only two main overtaking points, Turn 1 and Turn 2. Therefore, it is crucial to optimize the car’s set-up to maximize cornering performance and generate high downforce.
aerodynamics:
In Hungary, downforce is crucial for good performance. To achieve this, it is recommended to use a larger wing angle, such as 50-45, to generate sufficient downforce while minimizing the impact on top speed.

The differential setting plays an important role in the relative rotation of the rear wheels. The recommended settings for the Hungarian F1 23 are 55% throttle differential and 54% closed throttle differential. These settings provide good spin both on and off the throttle. If the car feels like the throttle is too loose, increasing the throttle differential to 55% can help.
Suspension geometry:
The Hungarian recommended suspension geometry settings in F1 23 are: maximum camber values of -2.50 at the front and rear, minimum toe settings at -1.00 at the front and rear, and zero caster angles front and rear. These settings provide plenty of grip without significantly affecting tire life.
pause:
The purpose of the suspension setup is to strike a balance between cornering performance and stability. The recommended suspension setting for the Hungarian F1 23 is 41-15 and the anti-roll bar setting is 7-3. These settings provide good cornering performance in slow and medium-speed corners while maintaining stability during power application. If the rear of the car slides too much out of corners, adding a click or two to the rear suspension and rear anti-roll bars can help. Lowering the front suspension slightly can solve the problem of front-end oversteer.
Body height:
Setting the ride height to 35-35 (just above the lowest setting) provides good grip in corners and minimal drag on the straights. However, it is important to be careful not to take too many curbs as it may cause damage to the floor. If consistency between the white lines is challenging, increasing the ride height to around 36 or 37 can provide more protection against damage.
brake:
The Hungarian brake setup in F1 23 is similar to previous versions. It is recommended to use 100% brake pressure and 57% brake bias for balanced braking performance. If lockup is a problem, reducing brake pressure or adjusting the braking points may help.
tire:
Pirelli tire settings in Hungary in F1 23 recommend minimum tire pressures across the board, with a front pressure setting of 22.0 psi and a rear pressure setting of 20.0 psi. These settings help maintain good tire condition throughout the race, but may require additional warm-up on outer laps and warm-up laps.
These setup recommendations are for intermediate players who may still be using assists like traction control and ABS. However, adjustments can be made to fine-tune the settings to suit personal preference and driving style. Factors such as wing level, differential settings, suspension stiffness and brake bias can be modified to suit personal preference and optimize performance.
