Disney Dreamlight Valley is a new video game launching in 2023. In this game, you need to take care of a special valley filled with Disney and Pixar characters. These characters have a problem – they’ve lost their memories due to a curse. The game lets you help them and take care of this magical place.

It was first released on September 6, 2022 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Later, on December 6, 2022, they released the macOS version along with some new content for the game. Initially, you’ll have to pay in advance to play, but they’re considering making it free. But in October 2023, they changed their minds and decided it wouldn’t be free after all.

The game launches fully on December 5, 2023, and comes with the first big extra called “A Rift in Time.”

New content and improvements:
- Get ready to welcome the Pumpkin King to your valley! Skeleton Jack arrives with new quests and unique items that will help bring the excitement of Disney’s Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas to your village.
- Valley Visits brings a new multiplayer mode. Hang out, share items and collect new pixel shards to build a powerful cooking and crafting enthusiast!
- Transform your valley into a royal winter wonderland with the new Royal Winter Star Trail.
- Explore new optional items in the Premium Shop for a limited time.
- Complete new weekly DreamSnaps challenges to show off your unique style and earn moonstones.
- Keep an eye out for gifts and wrapping paper around the valley as holiday events return.
- The basic skirt has a new knee-length style, providing you with more outfit options!
- Gain greater control over your valley by adding and removing villagers using the map menu. Note that villagers will always be present in your village if required for a quest.
- Some character animations have been updated – enjoy their expressions in the valley!

Major changes and bug fixes:
- Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Mickey and Friends and Moana furniture collections feature subtle variations in color and shape, all designed to create a more cohesive and unified Appearance.
- Goofy’s iconic hat is now even more iconic to Goofy – its size has been adjusted to match his own hat in the game.
- The hem length of the crop top has been adjusted to match the length of the ‘Heart of Te Fiti’ camisole.
- Minnie’s evening gown has an extended hem.
- Roughing up Ralph’s sturdy overalls by removing patches and adding signs of wear.
- Mickey Mouse patched denim jacket back patch has been adjusted.
- Moana’s fishing stand has been adjusted to more accurately depict her Waa’a Kaorua.
- A bug related to some players’ pumpkin houses not appearing correctly in the Forgotten Lands has been fixed.
- “Daily Deal: Chocolate Fountain”: A bug related to the generation of ice shards has been fixed.
- “Show your stuff off: A bug related to Sunbird feather generation has been fixed.
- “Lair Sweet Lair”: Fixed a bug related to paper generation.
- “Big Blizzard”: Bugs related to water particle generation have been fixed.
- “Broken Sled”: Fixed a bug related to game freezing when trying to pick up a sled.
- “What Home Feels Like”: A bug related to secret chest generation has been resolved to unlock all players who encountered the issue.
- A bug related to the unreachable Lioness statue in the Forest of Courage has been resolved.
- Various bugs related to certain items, including furniture and level blockers when viewed with certain graphics settings, have been fixed.
- An issue where villagers spawned too close to each other causing graphical issues has been fixed.
