Demon Slayer Season 3
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime series based on the popular manga of the same name created by Goto Kohiharu. The third season of the anime, titled “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sword Forging Village Arc”, was announced at the end of the second season finale. The new season is adapted from volumes 12 to 15 of the manga, covering chapters 98 to 127. Airing from April 9 to June 18, 2023.
This season is directed by director Haruo Sotozaki, with character design by lead animation director Akira Matsushima. The animation was produced by Ufotable and maintains the high-quality visuals of previous seasons. The main cast of Season 2 reprise their roles, bringing their beloved characters to life once again.
Prior to the release of “The Sword Forging Village Arc”, a compilation film titled “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Sword Forging Village” premiered in Japan on February 3, 2023.
