- He weighed 11 pounds, 6 ounces when he was born, and the nurses at the hospital nicknamed him “Samson.”
- After Clinton Sr. died, Ruth Eastwood remarried John Belden Wood.
- Eastwood has a younger sister, Jeanne Bernhardt (born 1934).
