Battlefield Mobile India Gameplay
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) offers an engaging gaming experience that blends strategy with action. The game uses a battle royale mode that can accommodate up to 100 players, competing fiercely to be the last person or team standing. Players have the flexibility to compete alone or with a squad of up to four members.
The battlefield unfolds across seven different maps, including fan favorites like Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. What makes the game unique is its dynamic map, where the plane’s flight path changes each round, prompting players to strategically decide when to parachute.
After landing, players start with minimal gear, wearing custom clothing that doesn’t affect gameplay. The goal is to explore buildings and different locations, equip yourself with weapons, vehicles, armor and other necessary items. As the game progresses, the playable area shrinks, forcing players to engage in encounters and competition.
Battlefield Mobile developed in India
The development history of “Battlegrounds Mobile India” (BGMI) can be traced back to the ban on PUBG Mobile by the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on September 2, 2020. Like 117 other Chinese apps, PUBG Mobile is also facing a ban due to activity concerns. This act undermines India’s sovereignty and security under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
However, we have worked hard to bring the game back into the hands of Indian gamers. In November 2020, there were reports that PUBG Mobile might be relaunched in India as PUBG Mobile India. PUBG Studios and Korean video game company Krafton registered PUBG India Private Limited in November 2020 to re-enter the Indian market with the aim of relaunching PUBG Mobile.
In a major development in May 2021, PUBG Mobile was renamed Battlegrounds Mobile India to better suit the Indian gaming market. Krafton has officially confirmed the launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India, a game similar to PUBG Mobile. The rebrand reflects a strategic move to align the game with the preferences and regulations of the Indian gaming community
