Battlebit Remastered Update 1.9.3 Patch Notes, New Map and Mode

Battle Position Remastered Edition

BattleBit Remastered, originally known as BattleBit and still commonly referred to as BattleBit, is an independently developed massively multiplayer online first-person shooter game available exclusively on the Steam distribution platform for Microsoft Windows. The game was created by a small team of three talented developers: SgtOkiDoki, Vilaskis and TheLiquidHorse, with SgtOkiDoki also serving as publisher.

Set in the fictional conflict between the United States and Russia, BattleBit offers exciting player-versus-player competition on a vast map with up to 254 players in a single game. The game draws inspiration from DICE’s famous Battlefield series, featuring similar gameplay mechanics, team-oriented character classes and potentially destructive environments.

After launching into Early Access on June 15, 2023, BattleBit Remastered was a huge financial success and quickly became popular, selling more than 1.8 million copies in the first two weeks of release. Critics praised the game’s emphasis on teamwork-driven gameplay, captivating low-polygon visuals, user-friendly design, and overall simplicity that’s unique and refreshing.

Week 5 Review

  1. Community server!

Our main focus this month is working on incorporating community servers and creating API access for server administrators. This will allow them to customize the server settings to their liking.

Here’s what you can expect from a community server (if the server administrator chooses to host one):

    • Sniper-only servers
    • Pistol server only
    • More competitive hard-core servers
    • More arcade style, less milsim servers
    • flight school server
    • Ace of Spades style voxel server (Yes, we have this feature! It is currently not public and is only available to community servers.)
    • tribe server
    • Other servers are based on administrator preference…
  2. Implementation of new game modes – revisiting existing game modes

    • Our old school, one of our favorite game modes, Capture the Flag! . We’re experimenting with how this mode works with 254 players, and it’s also playable at 64vs64 and 32vs32 scales.
    • We plan to make additional enhancements to Frontline because we are not completely satisfied with its current development status.
    • After Capture the Flag, we plan to try out the King of the Hill game mode in a future update.
  3. Redesign and introduce new maps

    • We’ve completely revamped multiple islands from the ground up. Brand new maps and more rework are out of the question!

For added gameplay variety, players can choose from six different classes, each equipped with unique loadouts to fulfill specific roles. These classes include the Squad Leader, who commands their squad and has the ability to place rally points and call for air strikes using binoculars; Assault, the versatile frontline fighter; Medic, who is responsible for quickly healing and resurrecting teammates; Support, who specializes in suppressing fire and provides Teammates provide ammunition boxes; Engineer, who specializes in destroying enemy buildings and vehicles with explosive weapons; and Scout, who specializes in surveillance, reconnaissance, and hit-and-run tactics.

The availability of weapons and equipment varies by class and includes a range of rifles, submachine guns, machine guns, pistols, grenades, and mines.
