Directed by Philippe Moreau and produced by Karim Benfares, Deportees: Ghosts of a New Eden is powered by Unreal Engine and offers a single-player mode with a compelling narrative that immerses players in an intimate journey of life, death, love, and sacrifice.
In Exiles: Ghosts of New Eden, players will take on the roles of Red and Antia, two experienced soul hunters tasked with removing a malevolent curse through a powerful ritual.
The game’s combat system allows players to utilize Red’s physical weapons and Antea’s supernatural powers to fight hostile enemies, including undead creatures such as ghosts and spirits.

New Eden’s Exile Ghost Void Rift
Void rifts are challenging haunted locations in Wanderer’s Ghosts of New Eden, offering optional encounters for players seeking additional difficulty and rewards. These areas function similarly to lairs, elite enemies, and scourges, requiring players to activate them by performing a Void Travel Ritual after finding the Void on the map.
Activation and Challenge
- To activate a Void Rift, players must first travel to the island of Siridean in the Mire Swamp. Once activated, a Void Rift presents players with a short, linear location containing multiple fights culminating in a mini-boss fight called Sorrow. During these encounters, players must contend with special rules that change the course of the fight, adding an extra challenge.
Combat Mechanics
- During the fight against the Lord of Sorrow, the player must avoid the boss’s projectiles and smaller enemies while destroying the cluster of black tentacles that provide the boss with a shield. Once the tentacles are destroyed, the shield dissipates, allowing the player to deal damage to the boss. The boss takes the form of a black pillar and can be defeated with rifle shots.

Upon completing a Void Rift, the player will receive a significant stat boost and a rare upgrade material called a Void Shard. After defeating Sorrow, the player must perform the Void Travel Ritual again to return to the material world.
- This action will take the player to a previously inaccessible location on the map, where they can claim a treasure chest containing an additional reward, such as a weapon or item. While opening a treasure chest does not increase the exploration percentage for the area, it provides the player with valuable loot on their journey.

Exile New Eden Ghost Gameplay
In Deportees: Ghosts of New Eden, developed by DON’T NOD, players will control two ghost hunters, Antia Duarte and Red Mac Reese, as they investigate the haunted community of New Eden.
The game is a blend of action and role-playing elements, where players can use conventional weapons and supernatural abilities to fight hostile enemies, including ghosts and spirits.

Using a dynamic combat system, players can combine Red’s physical weaponry with Antea’s supernatural powers to defeat enemies, unlock new gear, and upgrade abilities while exploring the mysterious world of New Eden filled with dark secrets.
