atlas the fallen
Atlas Fallen is an action role-playing video game developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. The game was released on August 10, 2023 for Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S. The game is developed by Deck13 Interactive using its in-house engine called “Fledge”. Unlike the studio’s previous games Lords of the Fallen and The Surge, Atlas Fallen is not a “Souls-like” game. Instead, it focuses on fast-paced and fluid combat, taking inspiration from games like God of War (2018) and the Horizon series. However, elements from The Surge games, such as the body targeting system, are also incorporated into Atlas Fallen.

The game was originally scheduled to release in May, but was later postponed to August 10, 2023 to give the development team more time to polish the game and launch it. Players who pre-order the game will receive a “Ruin Rising Pack” that includes a variety of cosmetics and Essence Stones to enhance their gaming experience.

Atlas of the Fallen Market is the only treasure map within Bastengar’s underground area, making it a crucial discovery for those who want to fully participate in side activities and unearth hidden treasure chests. This rare Atlas of the Fallen Market is the reward for successfully completing a specific and intricately designed mission, much like the mysterious riddle that must be deciphered to open the associated treasure chest.
The treasure chest in the market is of significant importance due to its contents, most notably its role in obtaining the coveted Active Recipe VI. As mentioned before, obtaining the Atlas Fallen in the Market Treasure Map is dependent on the completion of quests or side quests. Specifically, the errand, known as the “Fallen Knight” mission, involves retrieving a large number of knightly badges originally meant for the Keepers of the Graveyard.

To ensure successful completion, please refer to our guide detailing the locations of Knight’s Badges and get them all back. These badges will then be returned to the designated custodian located at the location indicated below. After talking to the cemetery guardian and showing the badge, the treasure map in the market will be awarded. Let’s continue to find out the whereabouts of the treasure chest.
To find the treasure chest in the Marketplace in Atlas Fallen Kingdom:
- With the map in hand, navigate to the in-game menu. Visit the Journey tab and then go to Treasure Map. Selecting “In the Market” reveals a statue in front of a residence, accompanied by a succinct riddle: “Any market needs a guardian. The Guardian of the North guards not only this place but much more.”
- The Sunken Atlas in the Market Chest awaits you in the Sunken City area. Journey to Anvil Keep and speed your journey to the Sunken City of Anvil. The location of the treasure chest is marked on the map. From this vantage point, head north to reach a modest square watched over by a Level 4 Tailguard Ghost.
- Overcoming this sentinel is crucial to protecting the chest. After defeating this powerful enemy, look around for a statue showing the remains of a gryphon.
- Nearby, an area of glowing sand becomes apparent. Get close and press Up on the D-Pad to dig out the hidden treasure chest from the sand cocoon.

Atlas Fallen Mines with your treasure map treasure chest locations
The Treasure Map of Me and Your Atlas of the Fallen is a reward obtained after successfully completing the unnecessary altar quests in Castrum VII. To perform this mission, your champion’s challenge must be enhanced to unlock the enhanced Air Dash. For this upgrade, it is recommended to check out the Reforged The Gauntlet Air Dash Shard Location Guide.
Once you gain the ability to perform two dashes in mid-air, head to Castrum Seven and find the village guard or quest giver associated with the unwanted altar quest. Your next mission is to find Gertie and eliminate the Altar of Theros at the designated location. After helping Gritty with this job, have another conversation with her. As a thank you for removing the statue, she will reward you with some items, including mine and your map, which triggers a new treasure hunt.
Find mine and your treasure chests in Fallen Atlas:
- To find Me and Your Treasure Chest in Atlas Fallen Kingdom, first visit the game menu. Navigate to the Journeys tab. In this section, select the treasure map and then go to the “Mine and Yours” map. An image depicting the cave will be displayed. Below the image is a riddle: “This was once a mine. There was a huge pillar supporting the ceiling. It was always hidden behind.”
- While the puzzle may seem challenging at first, full exploration of the map may provide the answer. The mine is located west of Castrum VII. Use fast travel to reach the settlement’s anvil, then head west.
- The location of the Atlas Corrupted Mines and your treasure chest is deep in the former mines west of the settlement. The area you are about to explore is called “Outskirts Hazed Cave”. Note that within this cave you will encounter a level 1 Shellbasher. Interestingly, this is the exact Shellbasher you must overcome when completing the Old Mine mission.
- After solving the challenge posed by the Shellbasher, turn your attention to the back of the mine, where there is a wooden structure. On the right, facing the structure and close to the cave wall, a small patch of glowing sand will catch your attention. Approach this location and press Up on the D-Pad to retrieve the hidden treasure chest. Completing the Fallen Mines of Atlas and your treasure hunt will unlock a new customization item called the Helm of the Lost Knight of Bastenga. This item allows you to change the appearance of your champion.
