Armored Core 6 gameplay
Armored Core VI places a heavy emphasis on mech-based vehicle combat within its gameplay framework. Players will play the role of skilled pilots, commanding a powerful mecha called “Armored Core”. The standout feature is that these mechs come with extensive customization options, allowing players to patch and customize them using a variety of parts to improve their performance.
A defining feature of the game is the freedom players have to equip their mechs with a variety of weapons. With one slot on each arm and two on the back of the mech, players can strategically equip their machine for different tactical approaches depending on the battle scenario.
The concept of the arena was a staple of previous iterations of the series, retained in the form of the Combat Capability Assessment Program. This mode allows players to showcase their skills and compete with other players. Successful completion of missions rewards players with in-game currency called points. Credits earned depend on objectives completed during these assignments, but uncompleted objectives may result in deductions.
Unlike earlier entries in the series, Armored Core VI moves away from a debt system that punishes players with monetary losses when missions fail. Instead, players can try missions as many times as they want without worrying about losing currency.
