You are watching: 20 Actors Who’ve Played More Than One Star Wars Character
With Star Wars being such a massive franchise that has a long and storied history, it’s no wonder that multiple actors have returned to play multiple roles. While some names are more recognizable than others, there’s no doubt that all the actors who have contributed in any way have helped to create such a beloved galaxy. Certain names like Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, or Carrie Fisher are synonymous with the Star Wars franchise, but now that there are many more Star Wars movies and TV shows, the number of actors involved has grown exponentially.
With all the elaborate costumes in live-action Star Wars titles, it’s relatively easy to disguise an individual’s face, meaning it’s easy to have one person portray multiple characters. Additionally, with voice acting, it’s very easy for actors to switch between one or two characters in just seconds, rather than the hours it would take in live-action. Here are 20 actors who have been able to accomplish this and have thus portrayed more than one Star Wars character.

Temuera Morrison originally joined the Star Wars galaxy by playing Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. Fett’s DNA was used as the template to create the Grand Army of the Republic, or the Clone Army. This means that all the clone troopers shown on screen are technically played by Morrison, even if he rarely donns the clone armor. Lucasfilm brought Morrison back to the franchise with his surprise appearance in The Mandalorian as famed bounty hunter Boba Fett, reviving him after Return of the Jedi. Morrison is a staple in Star Wars, so it’s been amazing seeing him back.
Boba Fett
A perfect clone of bounty hunter Jango Fett, Boba Fett inherited his father’s profession and operated as a bounty hunter through the Clone Wars and the Dark Times of the Empire’s reign. Believed killed on Tatooine, he survived and sought redemption of sorts after he was helped by native Tusken Raiders. In The Mandalorian era, Boba Fett now operates as a crime lord – having taken over Jabba the Hutt’s old empire.
